Most of of the white girls in Myrtle Beach are naturally missing in some departments.

Monica Caison and workers and volunteers for her CUE Center for Missing Persons have spent weeks looking for 20-year-old Heather Elvis, who disappeared days before Christmas. Elvis is one of nearly a half-dozen young people who vanished with barely a trace around Myrtle Beach in the past few years.

Sooo... as many as 5 people vanished in as little as 2 years?

I was expecting the setup for a horror movie or alien abduction sequence with ten or twenty missing people.

Considering they're probably dead, not so bad about that.

Some of the weirdest events of my life happened spring break at myrtle beach.

From the weird man on the beach persistently offering to give me a massage (but swore he wasn't gay)... I said NO. then he asked me to go back to his apartment and watch porn until his stripper roommates came home.

And... the time walking back from the beach was crossing the street and on the opposite side a overly skinny black girl asked me how the water was... all I said was 'fine' before a group of 20 or so drunk rednecks charged me from around the corner screaming at me.

I escaped and ran... they chased after me for a while screaming that they saved my life "that whore had aids."

No idea if the girl was a whore or not... she wasn't really dressed how I would envision a prostitute to look... but I don't have any experience with whores to know

the first one vanished in 2007, so it's not even 2 years, it's 6

If you are on the Redneck Riviera and you hear "Dueling Banjos", run, run like the wind. As a matter of fact, if you are any where near Myrtle Beach, get the Hell out! The whole coast from Fort Lauderdale to the Jersey South Shore is to be avoided unless you are super rich and can afford to stay on a bespoke barrier island.

North Myrtle Beach isn't as bad. The beaches around Charleston and Hilton Head arnt bad. Flagler area isn't bad. As long as you stay away from the big beaches like Daytona and Myrtle Beach it isn't too bad.

It's because they're all strippers, and dammit stripper disappear sometimes.  I'd never been to a place that was entirely organized around strip clubs and golf before.  The 1 pm Sunday flight out of there was one of the most surreal, funniest sights I've ever seen.  At least half of that plane was comprised of guys who had clearly been drinking at strip clubs until 5 am.

One must go to Mumbai to find a flight that smells worse than the early morning flight out of Myrtle Beach to.....anywhere.

the usa is a psycho-sexual nightmare armed with all the weapons the nra can pile into your retarded, criminal hands....

Women are stolen every minute, raped and murdered or kept in chains for 20 years.

if I was a woman in the usa, I'd feel no safer alone than a woman in India, Afghanistan, wherever.

Implying that anything Nancy Grace does constitutes any level of reporting. Fifteen yards and loss of a post.

I've watched enough Investigate Discovery shows to know that places like Myrtle Beach, Daytona Beach, Panama City, etc... are prime spots for rapists and sex traffickers to find new victims. Tons of teenage girls away from home for the first time, drinking and partying with huge groups of people in a new area, having to walk home at night by themselves. It's a recipe for missing white women.

Somebody 'splain to me why rich helicopter parents obsess about largely imaginary child abductors and never let their kids out of their sight, until they're 18 and they send them off unchaperoned to Cancun or Aruba or wherever to get drunk and screw.

There was a contestant on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire who was offered a trip to Myrtle Beach as a prize. Turns out she had tried to go there when she was a child but she wasn't allowed to go. She was black. Blacks weren't allowed in Myrtle Beach.

Meredith Vieira got a long face and there was an awkward pause.

If I were a woman in the USA I would spend all day groping my breasts and masturbating or having steamy lesbian sex.

I'd do that if I were a woman in India or Afghanistan too.

Especially if I were an Indian woman!

It's also the #1 spot for dilapidated, theme putt-putt golf courses BUT NOBODY IS REPORTING THE AWESOME THINGS ANYMORE

I still wouldn't be comfortable to be black in Myrtle Beach... it is a haven of racism, rebel flags and drunk rednecks. Not a very inviting place to be a minority.

This may be the most shocking statement in the article:

Caison founded the group in 1994 after several people she knew disappeared and little was done to find them.

I have lived many places and met/know a lot of people (work/interests/sports) and none to my knowledge have ever gone missing.  But this lady, who had several people she knows go missing, starts a group to find said people.  I trust someone is profiling her.
Maybe she spends a little to much time in Horry County

They'd have to take it up with subby since he was the one only talking about missing girls, while the article mentions both sexes.

Except the article doesn't say it's only women, nor do they mention race, but you snowflakes can keep obsessing over missing white girls.

lol I thought this. although in fairness it may not be that they all disappeared and there was any suggestion of foul play. maybe she's just REALLY boring, and they couldnt think of any other way of not having to listen to her go on and on except up sticks and haul ass in the middle of the night

Unfortunately, I suspect that these folks are now locked away in Europe or South America as slaves.   Sad.
