Yeah I live in SF, am a NoCal native, really like this 49ers team (though I did not grow up a Niners fan), and think Harbaugh's an incredible coach, but he's absolutely impossible to root for because of his continual histrionics

I'd rather play for a coach like Hoodie who has to spend time wondering which SB ring he's going to wear that day, but that's just me.

Being yelly and screamy means very, very little IF you don't have the coaching chops to back it up. Look at Mike Singletary.

Getting on the field may have gotten them a touch down. It was ruled incomplete. Would the play be reviewed if he didn't act a fool?

Most people hate Harbaugh because they already hated the 49ers - the more successful the franchise, the greater the haters (read:  SF, Pitt, Dall, Oak, NE).  And he just gives them more ammo.  But for me he's just so over-the-top when he doesn't really need to be.  For crissakes, his brother is so much more composed than he is, and has a title to show for it.  But he's the ultimate 'on my team I love him, on another team I hate him' guy.

Great freaking coach, though.  That's not up for debate.

Trollhawks isn't a disparaging term. Most people who like the Hawks are just fine with the moniker.

Yeah, I thought that came about a few years ago when they made the playoffs (PLAYOFFS?!??) at 7-9. Then bounced the Saints.

Looking forward to next week's game.

It was because they were the first team with a losing record in the playoffs to knock off the past years Super Bowl winner.

It was also the first incidence of the Beastquake.

We'll see how he is when they have to actually pay kapernick money.  I wouldn't be surprised if he asks for flacco money, especially if he gets to the superbowl again this year.

Yeah, if you really want to be an asshole, you need to throw out Chickenhawks, Seahags, Seacocks... things of that nature that I've seen. Why bother, though. It's just a rather silly and dangerous game played by a bunch of steroid mutants, who pull down salaries for doing so that suggest that there's something deeply wrong with our cultural values and economic priorities.
