It always amazes me how little Americans care about the principles on  which our country was founded. And they think they're being patriotic, and slap themselves on the back when they chip away at rights and freedoms a little at a time, all in the name of what? Nothing. Just personal offense and emotional comfort.

It amazes me how many in the left think the government arbitrarily banning things that hurt their feelings is good policy.

Hilary and Tipper tried to ban rock and rap music.
Bill tried to ban Internet porn and then freedom to assemble with his 'Free-speech' zones.
Obama and Hillary tried use the Youtube Muslim video as an avenue to start banning political views on the Internet. They will eventually succeed and the libtards will cheer it on.

Still way better than "Brown Bro Rail Shooter 2014." Although you need a joystick to play; even mouse/keyboard isn't enough for all the movement you need in that game.

I'll third that statement. Tipper Gore also actively tried to ban Dungeons and Dragons. (I have this memory that she was a member of BADD, but I can't prove that)

OK, so he had a point about Tipper. The rest of it is just retarded derp. Clinton didn't invent free speech zones and there were protests around the world about the Mohammed video. And if you've got evidence Clinton tried to ban internet porn I'd like to see it.

"Buying" implies payment. We are not paying them in full; that is why the balance is a negative number. When you take something from someone, and do not give them the full amount of payment for it, what results is a situation in which you "owe" them, which we refer to as "debt".

Ummmmmm... no.  He is o for 3.

Free Speech zones have been around since 1988... 5 full years before Clinton became President.

Tipper Gore did  not try to ban anything.  She advocated warning labels for records marketed to children.  And listening to what rap has become, she was spot on right.  WARNING LABELS PEOPLE!  READ A BOOK FER CHRISSAKES!

And as to Obama and Hillary trying to "use the Youtube Muslim video as an avenue to start banning political views on the Internet".... citation please or STFU.  Preferably to the Bill that they must have introduced jointly for this statement to be anything but Glenn Beck-Grade stupid.

Throwing my input on this snowballing political argument: The phrase "Free speech zone" just makes me cringe in general.  It belittles what should be a nationwide freedom of speech.  I'm not really interested in who started it, but I would vote for whoever ends them.

And if you have to type out the phrase "but I can't prove it" when speaking about someone, just leave out the whole part.  You're probably wrong if you can't find any information on it in this day and age, or at least just mudslinging and trying to get away with it.

Again, sorry for adding to this.  Here's Britta trying to prove she is accepting of the gay community by making out with a straight woman who was actually trying to do the same thing.  It seems appropriate.

With all the hate the right has toward liberals, well more like everyone who isn't as far right as they are, they would come up with something better than "libtards".

Every time I read that, I picture them writer was the kid in grade school who's shirt doesn't quite cover their belly, constantly has a snot bubble and just a little bit dirty who is demanding their ball back because everyone isn't playing fair.

For the record, I'm neither liberal or conservative. I find I can form my own opinions about things without the need to go with a party line. Some things conservatives/liberals believe in, I agree and other things I don't.

I feel sorry for those that wear their affiliation like a badge of honor because they tend to go through life with a pretty closed mind.

If an adult gets so butthurt over the comments of a kid in elementary school that they feel the need to write a letter, I would suggest they step outside and enjoy life a bit. Maybe take up a hobby that doesn't include fake outrage or something?

Besides, much like the duck dynasty guy, people are allowed to have an opinion even if they differ.

Then you weren't paying attention. Robertson has every right to his free speech... however, his free speech doesn't mean free from consequences in the court of public opinion or in the world of business.

Are you one of those poor Christian  victims who believes everything is an attack on your faith?

A company firing someone who represents that company for being a bigoted asshole is not a violation of the freedom of speech. Calling a fake redneck out on being a bigoted asshole is not a violation. Calling A&E a bunch of chickenshiats for re-hiring the farkwad because bigots whined is not a violation. Calling the "KILL ALL CHINESE" kid (and his parents, who almost certainly influenced this nonsense) an asshole is not a violation.

If the government had banned Phil from TV, or arrested him, THAT would have been a violation.

Now, is that enough, or do I have to get a jackhammer to get that through your thick skull?
