20 years ago, Chevy Chase would have been coming off the failure of his talk show.

Id consider watchng it if Randy Quaid was in most of the episodes. Is he in jail? Even in this country?

I'm guessing it will be the Griswalds spending their retirement in a RV. Occasionally visiting one of the eleven Rustys and seven Audreys. Like Meet the Fockers only worse than that abortion. Later we find out that the entire family is insane because they go from town to town kidnapping small children and brainwashing them to believe they are their children Rusty and Audrey. The originals having twenty five years ago due to some holiday related car accident and their bones are kept in a suitcase in the RV.

Seriously anything with Chevy Chase is bound to be a producers nightmare. He was already a bastard when he was on SNL and age hasn't tempered is ego.

Well since the last funny thing he ever did was Christmas Vacation, I don't think his ego is warranted. Then again, those are usually the ones with the biggest ego. People think he's funny on Community but it's mostly the audience laughing at him, which I don't think that's what he's going for.

Anyway, word is the proposed show won't be about the Griswolds at all. Just him and Beverly playing different characters.

Well, since the Rusty in Christmas Vacation is Lenord on The Big Bang Theory, maybe a trek to CalTech?

Episode one: a group of people seen only from the shoulders down are seen standing in a hospital room.  After ten seconds the scene changes to a young, attractive couple getting into a car for a vacation.

Each episode there after has the young couple having wacky adventures on the road.  Possible kids or relatives can be added to keep viewers.

Last episode (filmed at same time as first): the wacky adventure fades back to the hospital where we see a flat lining Chevy

Lsherm * * Smartest * Funniest 2014-01-10 09:50:32 PM Aaron Kaplan (Terra Nova) is on board to exec produce the project, which is in the early stages of development for the 2015/2016 season. The search for a writer to pen the adaptation. It was probably going to suck, but with that little bit of information it's DEFINITELY going to suck.

Also, who in their right mind would work with Chevy Chase after the Community fiasco?
================================================

Chevy was upset he had to keep saying racist things.

I doubt many (sane) people blame him at all for that.

/If Mandy Patinkin (though, he's a fantastic actor) can keep getting work despite being far worse to work with... Chevy will be fine.

Nothing can cover up the stench from the pile terribly unfunny movies Chevy Chase made when he stopped being funny. Everyone involved in Funny Money should be sterilized.

Beverly D'Angelo   is still smoking hot!

Eddy Gurge: I am willing to give it a shot. I think it would be funny if the kids changed actors each episode.

Hahahaha. This.

I thought Chevy was pretty funny as the Dr. on Dirty Work, that is post Christmas Vacation.

I'd go see a movie with the Russ and Audrey going cross country with their kids to visit Grandma and Grandpa.
Chevy Chase without Chevy Chase.

/maybe stop at prison to visit crazy cousin Randy Quaid, or is that too real?
