Ms Farrell said: 'When I woke up I saw black. I panicked. I thought if my vision goes, my life will be over.'

However, the blackness she saw was only caused by the bandaged surgeons had placed over her eyes.

She's a real genius, this one.

While I applaud Britain having their universal health care system and that they were able to fix this, I also wholeheartedly say that this idiot should be getting a bill for it. She paid 8,000 Pounds to have her eyes farked up and then the taxpayers have to fix it- there's no way she shouldn't be on the hook for it.

And she went there and was told, "Sorry, the color you wanted was out of stock- we're going to do this other one instead," and this DIDN'T raise any red flags? Perhaps they decided that since she obviously wasn't using her eyes anyway it didn't matter if they got the surgery right...

Why would anyone care what color their own eyes are? How often do you see them?

Anyone with even a bit of common sense would know such a procedure is a bad idea. It seems quite likely that even if the implants had worked as intended, she'd have major problems with night vision as the size of the pupil openings is probably fixed at a small diameter (so as not to leave part of the natural iris color exposed in brightly lit conditions) so in low light conditions not enough light would get through.

DailyFail wants you to read that headline as "DARK-SKINNED MORON HAD NASTY FOREIGNERS WORK ON HER! HARD-WORKING LOCAL DOCTORS FORCED TO FIX HER STUPIDITY AT TAXPAYER EXPENSE!"

Perfectly couched for their audience.

The One True TheDavid: Most of the world's people have brown/black hair, brown eyes and skin that's noticeably brown. People with blue or green eyes, blond or reddish hair and pale skin are mutants. Mutants. And if you look at us "Caucasians'" histories and cultures it shows.

Proud to be a mutant, descendant of people who took a look around and said, "Ya know, its farking too hot-funky-diseaseandbugandsnakeinfeste d-sandinmycrack-nasty tropical here. Grab the hot chicks, we are going north where its cool!"

WTF?? Colored contacts are pretty cheap. The risk in wearing them is small, and if they irritate you, take them out! And if they don't have your color, you can buy a second pair when they're back in stock.

I realize that the blue might not work for her brown eyes, but surely she could find a light brown pair like she wanted.

Her brown eyes are very pretty.

Why would she change that?

Ms Farrell says she no longer minds what colour her eyes are - all that matters is that she can still see

Don't make fun of her. She made a mistake any of us could make--having experimental surgery on our eyeballs in a foreign country. She made a mistake and she learned. Maybe she will become a motivational speaker now.

Let's keep in mind that this is the news site for: IMMIGRANTS ARE BAD, COLOURED PEOPLE ARE BAD, SOCIALISM IS BAD

So, I'm sure there is something more to this story than is being given.

Radak: Panama...  Slicing up eyes... sticking foreign objects in the cornea...  Yeah, sounds like a fantastic idea.

'I was so determined to get the surgery nothing rang alarm bells for me - nothing obvious.'

'When I woke up I saw black. I panicked. I thought if my vision goes, my life will be over.'  However, the blackness she saw was only caused by the bandaged surgeons had placed over her eyes.

You're not the brightest crayon in the box, are you?

Probably black

Shenise Farrell wanted to change her eye colour from dark brown to light brown so, in 2009, she flew to Central America for cosmetic surgery

She spent £8,000 having coloured discs implanted into her eyes - the brown implants were 'out of stock' so she agreed to have blue ones instead

wow... just farking wow... so many mistakes in a row... one after another... its a series of bad decisions starting with the decision to fly to panama for eye surgery.  And all this to have it lightened a shade?  and she didn't say hell no when they where out of her color?    Why is she not covered in tats?
