My Priest used to sing "Baby it's cold outside" to us altar boys.

And that means, among other things, shining light on those who are hostile to the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Christmas carols are among the teachings of the Catholic Church? That's what you're going with?

Also, we should be cognizant of the fact that Christ brings us together far more greater than any food or material possession ever could, and that we need to not only place him at the center of our lives but that we need to convince others to do so as well.

Hey kids, you want food or Christ?

I have no doubt that they would love some hot, delicious KFC. Being fondled by a priest, not so much.

Yours is the world, which largely focuses on oppression of people by threatening them.  His is where Christians actually cry "how dare you oppress us?!!?!?" all the time.

Driving home from work one night, I saw a group leaving the church across the road and wandering through the residential area. Since they were all dressed Christmas-y and carrying open books, I suspect I witnessed caroling. So maybe it does happen from time to time.

Not sure why the religions of the entire world would apply in this case, rather than the religions of the UK, which I think you'll find more closely matches the graphic you're calling "crap"

Why is it that religious people are so fond of getting pissed off for no reason at all?

Because we *had* a rather nice, polite society with a strong middle class, civilized public behavior and thought the future was going to be even better. After almost a generation of making war against the moderate Judeo-Christian culture that enabled that nice state of affairs, we're now watching the middle class wither away, factionalism on the rise, predatory societal behavior spreading as we slide downward to a dystopian  Blade Runner future...all because traditional values are too corny for today's hipsters. The legacy of generations of western civilization's improvements to the state of mankind are being pissed away by today's mass media driven corrosive culture. Enjoy your new Dark Ages...

Actuality, scratch that, the original joke doesn't make that clear either. But that's why the numbers are like that, it's the U.S. population, not world.

Which makes sense since it's a joke about how U.S. Christians spend so much time complaining about the most inane crap as if they're so terribly put upon any time anybody dares to not kowtow to them.

Send these jackasses off to Egypt or Sudan for awhile and let's see what they think of real oppression against Christians.

Do those moderate Judeo-Christian values include shipping the middle class jobs overseas? You know, since that seems to be the real reason that it's withering away as opposed to just blaming "hipsters".

Lemme guess - it all started when mandatory teacher-led Christian prayer in public schools was declared unconstitutional?  Because that was the point at which Everything Started To Go Wrong, right?

Yes, yes, religion was clearly the reason for the abberant few decades of a strong middle class and without "traditional values" (no abortion, racial lynchings, segregation, etc) we will slide into another Dark Age.

Irony. And not the Alanis kind.

While we're drawing mind numbing correlations perhaps I should ask if hipster values fail to support SAE sockets.  You know, since I just checked in my toolbox and can't seem to find my 9/16th's socket anywhere.
