Gee, I hope that the money isn't too much of a distraction from his day job of not playing baseball and banging the hell out of staggeringly hot women. My prayers are with you, A-Rod

Subby and the article writer are farking idiots, the pro-rated signing bonus would have been paid regardless of any suspension since its not actual salary. It was money due to him at signing and he just took it in installments instead of all at once.

Even if you think Arod's a cheating douche, the Yankees signed that horrible re-up. Pay him, pay that man his money (Russian Malkovich voice)

Three million? I'm sure the Yankees can come up with that money in their seat cushions somewhere.

And the A-Rod hate continues.

Enough already-- when are they releasing the ruling by Horowitz? I have been looking forward to the threads for weeks now.

My prediction is 100 games. It *could* be as high as 162.  But it's definitely getting lowered a bit.

Well he is a douche who tried to impede an investigation into his buying illegal substances which made him easily hateable.

Heh.  No one's gonna vote for HIM for the HOF, either.

Allegedly.

And he continues to be the main fall guy for the dozens of other MLBers that haven't gotten caught.

There is no allegedly about it, he was caught about using or even knowing the guy, then the doctor got caught and was asked to turn over the documents for a lighter sentence, aroid found out and tried to buy the documents.

Hes a dirty fark and sleazy on top of that, if he were a wall street banker doing this shiat everyone would be screaming for him to be in prison.

I see. So you've become the judge, jury, and executioner now, have you?

I'm so glad you're in charge of our legal system.

Yes, they bought documents showing that MLB bought documents.

Arod being a douchebag doesn't mean Bud Selig can do whatever he wants to make an example of him to preserve his legacy.

Were they pureed and put into a syringe for injection?

Youre the one ignoring the mounds of evidence against aroid, hes lucky he wasnt banned completely like they do gamblers.

They should get a little more creative with his punishment.  Instead of just kicking him out for 100 some odd games why not ban him from batting higher than 8th in the order.  Maybe ban his use of a glove in the field.  Top it off with his having to have I'm a Little Teapot as his walk up to bat music.

Considering A-Rod's conduct during the hearing....I doubt it.

Wait, why are you defending A-fraud?  He's a lying sack of crap; I'm as big a Yankee fan as anyone will defend even turds like Youklis (sp); A-fraud, however, is in a class all by himself.

Being a douchebag? No, that's Bonds' title to lose.

Obstructing an investigation?  Yeah, that'll do.  I mean A-fraud's reached Lance Armstrong levels of arrogance and douchebaggery.  Didn't think one athlete would reach that level, let alone two.

You mean he bought some of the documents MLB was buying which helped screw up a federal investigation because of their hard-on for Rodriguez?
