I once served pancakes with a cockroach baked into it at a restaurant.  And a rat was moving around in the ivy that had grown up the wall right next to a patio table.  And my boss had given me a handful of condoms (this was in the early 90's and he was very eccentric) which I stuffed into my waitress apron with the checks.  I quickly pulled out a check for a table that was ready to go and out came flying a condom, landing right in the middle of the table.  They were not amused and I was so embarrassed I literally ran away and would not go back to the table (glad they didn't need change).  I miss that place.  Nothing like that ever happens anymore.
