He came back for 1 "I gotta stick it to this team" game, and obviously set his recovery back by doing so.

Now if he is good to go for the playoffs and stays relatively healthy an contributes to a SB win, "WHO CARES! WE GOT A SB!"

If he DOESN'T, then he screwed over the Seahwaks for millions of dollars all for his own ego.

He's awesome when heatlhy. He is also frail. The Vikings didn't offer him this money for that reason. He's a gamble with sky high upside and millions of wasted $ and cap space on the other.

Good luck.

Dafatone:  I think the Panthers have a better shot than people realize.  That is, if they get there.

I know the Panthers have a really good shot at the Superb Owl.  I think they can beat the Niners.  If they have to play the Hawks, it is going to be a hell of a game.  It is going to be exciting this weekend, either way.  I don't see the AFC making it nearly as exciting.

jackiepaper: wiseolddude: If Seattle stays healthy, no other team will stand a chance against them. The only close game will be against SF next weekend.

On a neutral field, the Pats and the Broncos can and would beat them.

He'll be a decoy that will allow Seattle to run against more nickel coverage, but that's the only benefit they'll get out of him.  Missing nearly two full years tends to leave guys a little rusty.

I can't believe some team out there was dumb enough to give this guy $45 million guaranteed.
