And, as its coiner, I would say the term "Partiotic" refers to the way each political party in the U.S. defines patriotism as blindly following its own partisan agenda and special interests, rather than as some sort of grand bipartisan ideal...

this may be connotational instead of denotational, but most rational human beings (ie, not Farkers) understand that undergarments can be tshirts, wife beaters, socks, thermal coverings, and in the middle east world include wraps under cloaks, light tunics, etc. Underwear, however, is generally limited to coverings of ye olde genitals (oobies included), with a grey area for socks just for fun. So yes, a world of difference when it comes to a half dozen people making lame idiotic jokes.

So, what exactly is "weird" about this? This is sad, plain and simple. People are dying, that is sad news no matter how you slice it.

I support having our troops there, but I'm furious for the way my government has left them hanging in the wind with shiatty equipment. I was in the Canadian Forces, the Iltis is a joke. Get them the proper damn equipment and this wouldn't be happening. If you aren't willing to equip them, then get them the hell out and let someone who is properly equipped do the job. Man, the government p*sses me off with this.
