Sounds like the kind of thing only the finer pizzerias would make. You know, like Domino's or Little Caesar's.

/And at $45 it had better be delivered by a topless Swedish swim suit model.

Honestly, the only thing I'm surprised about is the python, and small independent pizzerias or small local chains of pizzerias tend to be more creative than the large chains.  I've heard of people eating alligator meat and frog legs, but never python.

that actually sounds pretty good given the right seasonings...

No. All three of those kinds of meat have a very slightly fishy consistency/flavor. They'd be good on a white pizza with garlic, but you don't put fishy stuff on a tomato/cheese pizza. Unless you're an idiot and eat anchovies on a Neapolitan pie.

/Now a deep-fried basket of those three and fries, I'd eat the heck out of that with cocktail sauce.

Some shiathole restaurant in a tourist trap owned by transplants from Connecticut who think this is what people from Florida eat?

The choices of sauce and cheese seemed wrong for me as well. White sauce with shallots and black pepper would do.

NSIS -  Alligator meat *does* taste like gamey chicken. - Might not be bad.

Frogs legs and Python on a pizza though sounds vomit producing.

Got down under and order a `meats of australia` pizza if you want weird. Croc, kanga, shark, everything and piled high like a good carnivore would want.

Who knew my love of anchovy pizza made me an idiot? Good to know.

Croc pizza actually tastes pretty good, depends on the sauce and ingredients though. Its actually common in southern florida, I tried it twice - first time I had mushrooms on it and almost made me belch, second I had just croc meat, green peppers and onions it actually wasn't bad.

/I prefer deep fried, with some crispy cajun fries, down here you can do a half basket which is half croc/half catfish battered (or beer battered) and cooked in front of ya for only $7.95.

Alligator is my favorite "exotic" meat by far, and probably one of my favorite meats period. Not counting various charcuterie...

2014-01-09 01:25:10 PM
Why would someone put three kinds of chicken on a pizza?

2014-01-09 01:30:09 PM
Don't know about the croc meat, but alligator tail meat chopped, battered and deep fried is tasty.  So I assume it would be about the same.  Bullfrog legs?  I've had them French and Cajun style, and they're not bad, either.  But snake meat?

Maybe in military forces survival training, but that's not on my personal agenda.
