Is this the thread where we post our KSP screencaps?

The only vindication the Russian moon shot engineers are ever going to get. The engines they built nearly 50 years ago are now pushing an American rocket into space.

Hopefully it goes; sounds like they have LOX leak. Stick some chewing gum on it; it'll be fine.

I didn't even know we had sent a mission to Anatares.

Ok, let's get this started. My 3-man-can to Eve sea-level. Placed into orbit with hyper-edit, so this doesn't count as a success just yet. It's just a proof of concept.

I'm still a bit bitter that this was moved to a day launch...

Triebflugels fly surprisingly well, btw

And they look pretty cool crashing back down too.

FrancoFile: Duck hunters in the exclusion zone.  Lovely.

You think a damn spaceship is gonna get in the way of a good duck shoot?

CAPCOM: Smokin' Fatty IX, watch that middle gimbal. We don't want you tumbling off into space.
Jeb: Bill, inform KSP I'm well aware of the God-damned gimbals!
Bill: [calmly] Roger that, KSP.
Jeb: I don't need to hear the obvious, I've got the frappin' 8-ball right in front of me!
CAPCOM: Smokin' Fatty IX, this is KSP. We've got you both on VOX.
Bill: You want what, you want us to go to VOX?
CAPCOM: You have a hot mic, we're reading everything you say.
Bill: [sheepish] Sorry, Jeb.
[Bill switches the microphones to push-to-talk]
Jeb: FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU
[Smokin' Fatty IX impacts Mun at 560 m/s.]

It wasn't difficult, but it was tedious.

In other news, the U.S. has agreed to resupply the ISS with cash for at least 10 more years. Over 40% of people alive then will have never lived a day without human beings in orbit above them.

That is a monster. I'll probably never go to Eve. I don't think my computer can handle a rocket large enough to make the round trip.
