b0rscht: I find the good stuff doesn't give me the munchies. In fact, not kidding, I lose weight when I have the good stuff because my beer consumption nearly evaporates. Take that, stereotypes.
Trance354: ........ and also the next place to get shut down for illegal "public" use of the substance. I have nothing against the use of weed, god knows, if I did, I should move away from Denver, but this is getting ridiculous: The news shows are polarized on one side or the other, with either demonizing moralization of the issue or hail to the new high world. Some guy asked me where he could buy weed while I was walking home from work. He missed the closing of the stores because he was too high in his motel room to bother getting up and out there before midnight to get more. Wait 7 hours, buddy, and you can buy the damn stuff, legal-like and stuff. I guess the stimulus to the economy is great, but I seem to be the only one who sees that the increase in the economy of Denver, with this being the reason, will result in a slump somewhere else, as the Denver pot tourists' resources, which would have gone to their own local economy, are spent here not on a product which is comparable, but which is new./maybe I'm just sick of the steady stream of out of state potheads coming where I work and forgetting how to work a keypad on the self checkout//or what they came in for ... when they have a list in their off hand///or where they live ...//or they forgot their wallet at home... after picking up $600 in groceries/or they're staring at the doritos ... drooling
Trance354: by the way, I should note,1) I am one of those horrible few who have an inborn resistance/immunity to THC. Much testing was done to verify this, so I'm not a prude, it just doesn't work on me2) Pot is still illegal, federally. If, perchance, the local businesses wanted to drug test their workers, and find reason for firing a large number of them, this is the perfect excuse, and it would be completely legal3) In order to get a job at most places in Denver, you have to pass a drug test. I got my last job because the first 2 applicants didn't decide they needed to stop smoking weed to pass the test. One of them went to the interview high.4) I am personally waiting for the rush of "poor and downtrodden" who spent all their welfare money on weed, and now can't buy food or pay rent/utilities/this is not a hard concept//I can see it in their eyes(like, really, I can see it in their eyes!), and I can smell it on them

GWSuperfan: So, what would you recommend as a pairing with Funyuns?
