I recall him joking about having to have his arms shaved on a near daily basis when he was filming "One Hour Photo". He said they had to use a weed whacker.

Lies.

The hair in front is now white hence harder to see. The hairy back is a sign of high testosterone which declines with age.

But he does look like he's had a shave or two.

Huh, the toupee/whatever looks more realistic while wet in these photos than it does on his (pretty decent) new TV show.

(Okay, the show is bad but he's often funny in it.  Worth seeing if you like his riffs.)

he is still funny.  I watch The Crazy Ones, and while the show is admittedly uneven, Robin is still as funny as ever when they let him go.

Expect the show probably won't make it.  Post Buffy SMG is really starting to look her age, especially around her younger, hotter co-stars.

/funny thing about that show - you never get the feeling that SMG is NOT playing Buffy - this is just what happened after Sunnydale - she finished college and went into marketing.  Because she is still just playing Buffy (with less butt-kicking).

Manscaping? Nah, it's more of a Mansterminatus.

I've never seen Buffy (movie or show) and don't feel I've missed much.  They do seem to be using quite the mayonnaise filter on her for the Robin Williams show.  It's kind of disturbing.

Really, the best part is always the outtakes they run at the end.  'Cause more Robin mugging and much less competent supporting cast.

You wonder whether it would improve with better writing, or maybe with less focus on "SMG".

I watched the whole first episode and was completely put off by the fact that it was a 30 minute infomercial
for McDonalds, and that Williams was really just going through the motions and seemed to have the
attitude of "This is FUNNY you know" rather than actually showing any personality.  I've caught bits of a
couple of other episodes, and it was even more painful when he tried to do obviously scripted 'improv'
with his 20 something costars.

I haven't seen such a lack of chemistry in a cast since the Ralph Finnes/Uma Thurman AVENGERS movie.

I thought the first couple of episodes were not very good, but they have seen to found their groove.  Robin has toned down the manic a little bit and now his throwaway lines and under the breath comments, I think, are some of his best.

Besides, when him and Brad Garrett get together, its great.

1. TFA is stupid. He's not manscaping. He's old and grey (gray?)
2. He isn't now and has never been funny. If there's one person on this planet that I find more annoying and unfunny than Will Ferrel, it's him.

That's because you lack any discernible sense of humor.

So they stopped by the local hardware store for a yardcrew to do the work?

Started watching the show recently, it can be funny

and yet at times it won't be, hopefully it sticks around long enough for the cast to meld together a bit

the first episode almost made me never watch a second.  But then the outtakes at the end changed my mind.  it HAS gotten better and the episodes don't feel like commercials any more, but yep the show is REALLY uneven.  Brad Garrett's character should never have been introduced (and not because he is gay.  His uber masculine gay persona is great) but because it watered the show down - Robin was the boss, his face is painted in huge relief in the office, but now he has to answer to this huge gay man?

Hey....hey...HEY!  Sandler once did that character.... on SNL..... Weekend Update?
And the character's name was....uh.... something "Man"?

And the character acted as an exaggerated version of what that "name" would be?!

This.  (Okay, Elf was cute, and Sandler is far worse.)

Perhaps I should have said "vaseline filter" or lens.  The technique beloved by aging stars from Lucille Ball to Cybil Shepherd and Joan Collins to apparently the ole Buffster.

Robin Williams looks fine. It's not like he waxed his entire body bald. If he wants to trim his hair, BFD. (Or wear a wig, or dye his hair, or get hair plugs, or whatever.) He's a very hairy guy. I can trim any or all my hairs any time I want to, and nobody says a thing. They might even compliment me.

She looks mid thirtys. I don;t see them glossing over that fact...

She just looks odd.  Could be the mayo/vaseline, could be too much yoyo anorexia, could be overcompensating makeup, or drugs, or some combination.  Or maybe she's been sick, I don't know.  She was a cute young woman but there's something off-putting and even disturbing about her appearance on this show.

If she's under 40 the "wall" should still be far away.

Well her "tile" in the opening credit's DOES have the kind of filter you mention. I mentioned that to my too. Everyone else seems to have a well done profile photo... She got Galmour Shots™.

During the show itself though, I just don;t see it though. She looks "normal" to me.

Yeah, it's a poorly produced show.  The cast and writing are adequate but Robin WIlliams is really the only attraction.  (Haven't gotten up to any Brad Garrett episodes yet; I'm not a big fan but hoping for the best.)

The show comes off as janky and uneven, somewhere between a TV Land Original Series and Ally McBeal.
