But unlike McCain, Rodman knows how to pick a point guard who won't embarrass him.

Presidential contender McCain? Scripted tool.

Actual living breathing unscripted McCain? I love this guy.

When I lived in Arizona I had no problem reelecting this guy as my senator. Then, he changed...

I love that one day a year where we all agree with John McCain. Merry McCainmus!

Dennis Rodman is an idiot, but McCain's the one who just gave him another free 24 hours in the news cycle.

I think he would have been a LOT better than Bush in 2000.  That is, I USED to think that until I got a call about his out of wedlock black child from Rove.

Man who brought us Sarah Palin is throwing stones where?

/rodman is indeed an idiot

Huh... the law of averages must have kicked in

/and before some nitpicking chucklehead chimes in, yes, I know there is no law of averages

You're over 5 years late on developing your idiot identification skills, John.

2014-01-08 10:48:14 AM
Yes, what does Sarah Palin have to say about it?

2014-01-08 10:51:53 AM
Meh. A lot of the fieldwork in improving race relations in the US occurred when people like Stevie Wonder were drawing black kids and white kids to concerts with songs like "Superstition." Common interests and activities can sometimes lay seeds of future positive experiences between peoples and countries. I guess what I am saying is...its only basketball, but Best Korea likes it.

In other news: many basketball 'stars' are idiots. idiots with big dicks.   update at never.  being paid millions to run around a wooden court bouncing a ball is not exactly contributing much to the Nation or to Mankind.   a Teacher is much more accomplished and much less expensive.

basketball's only two values is that it is 'entertaining' and good exercise.

but it works.  you spend your money and watch their dumb asses commercials, and the basketballers and their owners laugh all the way to the bank.

Mcain would prefer mass murder with robots and torture then opening lines of communication (even if it just about basketball) to find common ground for future peace.  I hope his MIC stock options make him sleep well at night.

Then Best Korea can have their basketball when they agree to feed their people and otherwise treat them like people. Doing it for them now rewards them for bad behavior.

Yeah, he always seemed to do it by himself. I recall Rodman arriving in San Antonio, playing for a few weeks, then asking, "Who's this 'Del Negro' I keep hearing about?"

John McCain definitely knows what an idiot looks like.

I am curious as to the time window regarding Rodman's last visit to NK and the now-slain uncle's staffers fleeing to SK.

A lot of the fieldwork in improving race relations in South Africa occurred when American and European musicians, black and white, refused to legitimize their regime by traveling there.

Why is this such a big deal? Talk radio this morning went on about it for my entire ride to work. "He's a thug." "He doesn't even talk, he just slurs." "Revoke his passport if he likes it so much over there."

All I got from it was that they were angry, but not why they were angry.

Going to North Korea and playing a basketball game in honor of a thugs birthday then serenading with happy birthday is not at all like what Stevie Wonder did.
