listernine: The business plan for the Wii U reveals itself!
MAC3: I would love to see an Assassin's Creed game set in ancient China.
lewismarktwo: My favorite thing the media companies do now is to insert a Han Chinese actor into existing scripts just to pander to China. Sometimes they do it for direct funding. As in give me 100M and I'll put your guy in.
kroonermanblack: Isn't most of china debilitatingly, cripplingly, poor? Outside of several of the large cities, I thought everyone was essentially a dirt farmer or Foxconn slave. How are they going to afford consoles and games, realistically? Or is the industry expecting to make some cash off mod'ed systems and stolen games?
velvetshark: I give it a month before there's a knock off called Plurstation Four and XBlox Yuan. They'll be half the price of the western products and fully compatibly with existing stuff. They'll also break after a month.
Fatty McFatcheeks: velvetshark: I give it a month before there's a knock off called Plurstation Four and XBlox Yuan. They'll be half the price of the western products and fully compatibly with existing stuff. They'll also break after a month.this.Time and time again, companies are lured in by the "great untapped market". The chinese government forces them into a partnership with a chinese company in order to get access to the market. 2 years later the partner company is making a competeing product. lather, rinse, repeat.
AdamK: i'd be curious - if consoles somehow became popular - would it push more f2p/mmo stuff on the systems?
Gordon Bennett: Does that mean the end of these completely legitimate imports?[1.bp.blogspot.com image 490x377][10awesome.com image 550x452][www.videogameszone.de image 669x281][cache.wists.com image 800x600][d15uu3l1sro2ln.cloudfront.net image 700x557]
