And the one who can do it the longest is the Kwisatz Haderach.

I used to take those computer duster cans with the long extension on the nozzle, hold them upside down and put them through the keyholes in my house. Then I'd call my sister to the room and when shed reach to open the door I'd spray a nice blast of that freezing cold sh*t on her hands. Not quite 'leave permanent scarring' stupid but dumb nonetheless. What I'm trying to say is this couldn't happen today because houses don't have those skeleton keyholes anymore. I now know what the Beatles were singing about in Yesterday. Thanks a lot, Obama.

Why not just turn the can upside-down and make a nice little flamethrower like the normal kids?

The time to trust your teenagers to be responsible is when they turn 30.

When I was in high school some kids would rub erasers on their arms until they had these huge bloody abrasions. Kids are dumb and think hurting themselves proves toughness.

2014-01-07 11:04:19 AM
I'd kick that kid's ass. Compressed air is too farking expensive for that shiat.

I swear I remember kids doing this shiat in the early nineties (minus YouTube)

In the nineties I was in grad school and had ready access to an unlimited supply of liquid nitrogen, so we were doing worse.

/Dips hand quickly into Dewar, cupping a small amount, then throwing it at colleague. "Liquid nitrogen fight!!!"

Came here to say the same thing. Believe they called them "sissy tests".

Kids today.  In my day, we'd lower ourselves into a bathtub filled with ice cubes and have someone pour boiling water on our genitals.  Now that's hard core.

Not all burn scars last forever.

A colleague once sprayed freezeit (http://www.altex.com/Chemtronics-Freez-It-Spray-15oz-ES1550-P143242. as px ) on my harm at extremely close range as a prank. Less than a second produced a freeze burn that did leave a scar,  It eventually disapeared.

As a kid I got a worst burn scar on most of the top of my arms from a sun burn. It looked like it would be permanent as it lasted several years but it did go away.

2014-01-07 11:08:47 AM
This is a craze much like the knockout game.

2014-01-07 11:11:05 AM
In high school we burned ourselves with lighters. Heat up a lighter till the top is white hot, then sink it into your skin until it cools. We called it "burnout" and I was pretty good. I even organized my burns: disposable (Bics) on the left forearm, Zippos on the right. One Bic burn bubbled up and the scar looks like a football helmet.

2014-01-07 11:11:33 AM
I'm sure this is as much of a "thing" as jenkem.

2014-01-07 11:13:40 AM
When I was in junior high, some of my friends would take a lighter and dump some of the fuel into their cupped hands. Then someone else would light it and, if it all went according to plan, they'd create a small fireball in their hands. One of my friends put too much butane on his hands and instead of making a fireball, he lit his hands on fire. He was able to quickly put them out and suffered no permanent injury. He also later became an Eagle Scout.

All this to say that this is NOTHING NEW. It's just that parents are starting to freak out at the knowledge that their offspring are just as dumb as they were back in the day.

If only there were a way to combine this, jenkem, the knockout game, and planking into one thing, there wouldn't be a local news reporter alive not sporting an erection. Even the women.

/Dropping frozen balloons of jenkem onto people and knocking them out so they end up planking?
//"It's the dangerous new trend among teens called jenk-planking. What you need to know, tonight at 11."

Not a cool story, but story non the less

When I was younger and stupid (like age 9), I sprayed a can of Right Guard, or something, on my hand... patch of ice formed under my skin...
Not a whole can, but enough, super close to my skin
I still have a circle shaped scar on my right hand from that... almost 30 years later...

/Looking at that stupid scar now and shaking my head... damn  I was dumb when I was younger
//end of not so cool story
/// three slashies is what all the cool kids are doing now right?

Anyone wanna play Bloody Knuckles? We can do it regular or quarters style. How about some Red Rover or dodgeball? If that gets boring we can all try to hurl each other off the playground equipment until they tear it all down.

When I was in elementary school the hot thing was to have someone stand with their back up against a wall, tell them to breath deeply a few times, and then apply pressure to their chest to make them pass out. I was a smart 6th grader, so I wasn't dong that shiat but my cousin...well, lets just say he has a scar on his face today, 25+ years later as a reminder to not do stupid shiat. He let someone do it to him in an alley and his ass passed out and landed on some broken glass. 10 stitches to the face.

Had a guy named Hayden allow a girl to do it to him one day during an assembly. James Brown, the guy who anchors the CBS football pregame show (used to be on Fox) is originally from DC. He was supposed to speak but he never showed. For some reason, teachers pretty much allowed us our run of the auditorium/cafeteria/gym while we waited for him to show up. I recall talking to someone and I heard a loud *THUD* that made everyone in the auditorium stop. I looked over to see Hayden face down on the floor with a little pool of blood forming. Teachers went batshiat and sent everyone to their classes and a bunch of kids started crying and shiat like they had hit their heads too. I remember thinking that some of those who were crying were faking it to get out of class. There was a little pussy named Anthony who, upon seeing Hayden laying on the floor, burst out of the side door into the rain while he sobbed like they had just given him bad news about his mother. Hayden got rushed to the hospital but he turned out alright (I guess). Oh, worst part of the story was the girl who did the pass out trick on hayden was a new student who had not yet made a lot of friends. She becamse the target of threats and she got into a few fights with people over the course of several weeks over the Hayden incident. It ruined her sixth grade year.

My brother and his friends once had a contest to see who could put their hand over one of those tall candles in the glass cylinders, tight to the lip, until the flame went out. My brother "won" a huge nasty blister on his hand.

When I was in high school I use to get the fingers of football players tangled in my hair and then pull their hand into the toilet with my head.  Sometimes, when they didn't seem to understand the threat that I presented,  I would also make a second guy hold the band of my underwear while I did squats just to drive home the point.

It's called the Choking Game. It's a dangerous new trend that's sweeping through schools. Is your child playing it? Tune in a 11:00 to see what the warning signs are.
