If Old Man Tard tried that shiat in a room full of Army brass, that would've been all she wrote.

// One of my 'toon mates was on guard post during field exercises
// He challenged a 4-star that was passing through (✔) and pointed his-unloaded-M16A2 in the "general" direction (✘!!)
// 4-star had some kind of scary, bad a55 MP escorting him
// 'toon mate got a very nice, sudden view of the sky (and was a bit dazed)

Real story 1: Active duty during the Greater Southeast Asian Wargames.
Worked in a Secure Area where the President would not be allowed without escort.
A Fleet Admiral was making the rounds.
Stopped by access point and asked the Fleet Marine (3 tours in country.) about things etc.
Started to walk away. turned around and asked the Marine "Son, what would have done if I had tried to force my way in?"
To which Sgt Marine answered, "Sir, with all due respect, I would have broken your farking neck with my bare hands".
Admiral replied, "Keep up the good work, Marine".

Real story 2: While on active duty a troop that would later be in the same National Guard Military Unit with me, was standing post on a Secure Area where the President couldn't go without an escort.
Area was approached by a group of drunken junior officers.
They decide to mess with my buddy.
Ignoring the signs that specifically declare that "There will be no warnings! Deadly force is authorized! Keep out!"
Figuring that the signs did not apply to him, one of said drunk junior officers attempted to climb the security fence.
My friend shot him,
In the ass.
At the court martial for disobedience of direct orders, my friend was asked why he did not kill the officer.
He explained that shooting and killing the base commanders Son might be considered impolitic.
Took him forever to get passed Sgt.
The officer was cashiered.

...three Swedish emergency managers in the delegation were rattled when the gun's laser tracked across one of their heads before Hauer found the map of New York, at which he wanted to point.

Reads like a Naked Gun script.

You just can't make that shiat up.  Wow.

You can pretty much put anyone who has managed to acquire the mythical New York City handgun carry permit into a class of entitled elitist douchebags entirely separate from any other category of human beings.

What do Cowboys fans or Patriots fans have to do with this?

Yup, only cops and other government law enforcement officials should have them, amirite?

How about people who don't use them as farking laser pointers? Can we start with that requirement and then work up to the outrageous ones?
