Albert Speer wrote in his memoirs how he once found himself in a staring contest with Hitler himself.

It was during a large meeting with everyone seated around a large conference table when Hitler locked his eyes onto Spears and wouldn't let go.

Speer claims to have won the contest when Hitler finally broke off and rejoined the discussion.

I suppose if you know the guy as well as Speer did that's not too weird, but still.
