I suspect that the chip in that field will produce grainy images

Considering its California, illegal aliens probably did create it.

I don't understand the publicity stunt would help Nvidia.  How would anyone logically connect a crop circle with their GPUs?

Now, if they had lit it on fire...

I recognized it as a chip the first time I saw the picture.

Didn't notice the Braille dots, though. I probably would have seen them if I were blind.

My favorite crop circle documentary had a bit where they faked one, brought in the unknowing "experts", had them all claim it was genuine and then they showed them how they made it.

The "experts" had nothing to say, as in they looked at the video, got in their cars and left without saying a word to the camera.

I bet $100 that if aliens were to come down to planet earth from space right now and look at these crop circles, they would ask "Why the fark do humans make crop cirlces?"

Fark it.
I hope more companies use crop circles and waste all that food so people in "developing countries" will starve and die off like they're supposed to be doing. To many humans on this rock is.

Now pardon me as I have to go help prepare a meal thats to big for us to eat so we'll throw most of it away.

UNAUTHORIZED FINGER: GungFu: You think that intricate circles cannot be man-made because humans aren't capable of it.

No, I don't think that. You think that's what I think. But that's not what I said.

UNAUTHORIZED FINGER: My only problem with the debunking is that every time they demonstrate how they do it, they make a small crappy raggedy-ass crop-circle, and every time one is unexplained, they're giant razor-sharp labor-intensive productions that defy logic

You're really coming across as a bit thick.

I give up. If you wanna think of me as this guy:

If you've ever driven through the town, I'm pretty sure "Chualar" means "Squalor" in Spanish.

Well I was going to say he gets off on being willfully ignorant, but that'd just be repeating what you said.

How often is this unique set of circumstances, for which nVidia is now perpetuating, the case when a crop circle is made?

That didn't parse...

How often is this unique set of circumstances the case when a crop circle is made?
nVidia is now perpetuating the act of making crop circles with little declaration that there was no food wasted in the process.

People like you are the reason coffee has to have, 'Caution, Hot coffee is Hot!' warnings.

You two should get a room at the Obtuse Hotel down the street and see how dense you can get together.

wiseolddude: If an alien spaceship can travel across the galaxy, I don't think they need to carve out a crop circle as a landing strip or a message to fellow travelers.

Look, the Prime Directive says we can't directly influence another civilization.  So we just fark with their heads instead.

But what about the people who were blubbering in the last thread that only aliens could make something this complicated? Oh right, they are retarded.
