surely, the ACA has to worse than

the Indian Removal Act of 1830.

the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850.

the Espionage Act of 1917.

And yet when the GOP controlled Congress and the White House ten years ago, the best they could come up with was a give-away to the pharmaceutical companies called "Medicare Part D", which is possibly the worst legislation to ever become law.

I'd like to add the Volstead Act of 1919.

"Of course we need to repeal it but we also need to tell people what we'll do next. We need to show Americans that we're the party of conservative solutions. That's the only way win."

He then proceeded to offer no proposals of what he wants to do next.

Don't get me started on DST.

Seriously, the Koch brothers are STILL throwing tons of money into the ad campaign to make ACA the wedge issue that will sweep to GOP back into power, and they have elected officials as their paid spokesmen.

It's disgusting.

Look, it could be said that I have a date with Yvonne Strahovski tonight.  The case could be made that we're going to a Dave & Busters to enjoy a burger and some video games.  You could make the argument that she and I will spend the night making gladiatorial love with no regard for the cost of the repairs that will need to be made to the hotel room.

I always thought Adams got the short end of the blame for the Alien and Sedition act. He sincerely thought it was the will of the people, not recognizing the unconstitutionality of it . Congress wrote the bill, so he decided to go along with it.

In all fairness, John Adams was dealing with French immigrants trying to force the a United States into a war with England, while his Own Vice President (and supposed best friend) Thomas Jefferson went undermining his policies by using a press that made Fox's lie seem innocent.

Still Adams built the Navy, kept us out of a useless war for the moment, and regretted his signing the Alien And Sedition act. Jefferson got bit by the same newspaper snake he unleashed on Adams, realized the French attempted to use us and praised Adams for recognizing the power of a national Navy.

Then they pointed and laughed at Madison for nearly farking the whole thing up with the War of 1812. Then in true Bromance fashion, they died on the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of their greatest document- Declaration of Independence.

Not really.  they think that ACA's failure is already so complete and assured, that the mantra for 2014 is "do nithing".  Yes, the plan is to do absolutely nothing, so they can run the entire mid-term cycle platform on ACA's failure.

I think his goal was to get noticed, to get everybody talking about him.

At least the guy is honest in saying he thinks the ACA sucks and the Republicans don't have a clue on what to do.

Then, to really turn the troll factor 11:

-Starbucks is the only coffee served in the capitol
-All government cars will switch to Volts and Volvos
-Copies of all holy books will be displayed side-by-side in the lobby, along with copies of the FSM's gospel, Hitchkiker's Guide, and the entire trans-script of Mad Maddox's web blog
-Whole Foods will run the cafeteria in the capitol, and homeless folks get to eat for free every day.
-Front entry drive will feature a stone water feature, made with responsibly mined stone.  The fountain will depict a dog taking a leak on a man's shoe, and will be christened as the Reaganomics Memorial Fountain (sponsored by Acorn)
