I've posted youtube vids using snippets from records as the background music, and they've been rendered silent or taken down.

It would suck to have this guy's three years of work have the audio stripped because of copyright enforcement.

seems as long as it's played on youtube many companies are OK with it as long as it's not wildly offensive
