OM MAGOODNESS I know the feeling of this because it can be quite the surprise to find the things in the pool for swimming that you have not the expectation of. Some of these individuals on the Fark.com website might wonder of this part though and that is why can they do the swimming it is quite the cold place right now! Well perhaps it would be helpful for the education. Right now in the Australia it is the summer month of July. I do not think many people have the understanding of the switch of the months across the two hemisphrectomipheres of the earth. It is also important that you have awareness that it is the crocodile mating season so you do not wish for swimming in the pools in this area without much of the carefulness because listen I can tell you this you do NOT wish for the mating by the crocodile. Let us just say that this was the lesson learned in the way that was hard. This is not the intention of the pun.

Benevolent Misanthrope: Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but... If I'm swimming laps, and I look in the next lane and there's  A GODDAMN CRCODILE swimming next to me, I absolutely want the pool staff to be alarmed.

This happened in Australia. The swimmer is happy that the deadliest thing he saw was a croc.

You have a LONG LONG way to go before you reach Pocket Ninja territory. You might want to reconsider your cunning plan.

In the swimming pool, fine, as long as he stays in his own lane.

I am NOT sharing steamroom space with him, however.

Is a lap swimmer anything like a lap dancer? I bet the buoyancy would make it even more interesting.
