"Siri" is not a living thing, therefore it neither likes, nor dislikes, anything.

Stupid article is stu-- oh, it's Gizmodo.

I think as soon as you name or reference any kind of artificial intelligence/android/whatever as female, it will go bananas and hate all other women by default. It's like one of Turing's laws or something.

"Siri. is it raining out?"

"Look out the window, biatch and show me your tits. I mean, yes it is raining."

She can't stand the way he sings but loves to hear him talk.

Uzzah:

That is exactly what comes to my mind when I see anything about this movie. Thanks for reassuring me that I'm not alone at least.

Of course the initial question asked of Siri was "search web for closest hospital," and Siri heard it as "Are you "Her?""

This just prompted me to request Siri to open the pod bay doors. Siri told me this was an insensitive thing to say.

Andy told me that Siri is a loose moose in the cybersack and that she has crabs.

Has Siri proven in any way useful for anything, besides debatably 'amusing' anecdotes?

Well, if you're trying to get an iHater thread greenlit, mentioning Siri is pretty effective.

immensely.   for instance, i prefer to manually keep my screen dim and found myself in bright sunlight unable to see the screen well enough to make the adjustment... i figured give siri a whirl and shedutifully maxed the screen brightness.

once used for a while the
accuracy is amazing and i have managed to surprise iphone veterans into using her again

If just about anyone but Spike Joze was doing it, I would assume so. But he's got a good track record, and it's been getting excellent reviews.
