I hear the new Indian rocket can carry twice as much Rape as the previous version.

It's a well-designed communications satellite, but the problem is you can't understand a goddamn thing Jugdish is saying- and he insists his nam is "Brent."

You want Amazon's rocket.

/Only four stars. The curry wasn't as hot as I would like, and the warhead was barely 100 kilotons, not the 150 kilotons advertised.

Subby is clever is his misdirection.  India problem only needs enough range to his anywhere in China though since that is their declared security threat.  Anyway, can never have too much range.

There is nothing in North Korea worth blowing up.

2014-01-05 05:47:01 PM
OK, there's at least twice as many nuclear-armed Asian peninsulae with millions of hungry citizens and strained relations with neighbors than I thought of initially.

LargeCanine: There is nothing in North Korea worth blowing up.

No, there's nothing in North Korea worth getting blown up over. Big difference. I can think of lots of things in North Korea that would be *worth* blowing up.

I'm pretty sure the US already has a rocket that can deliver warheads anywhere in the world, why would we need to test new ones?

2014-01-05 05:48:24 PM
And that takes weeks to setup on it's gantry. Hardly a suitable first strike weapon.

2014-01-05 05:49:02 PM
Not so much a peninsula as a subcontinent, though.

2014-01-05 05:49:06 PM
That's the first time I've ever heard anyone refer to India as a peninsula.

What would anyone do with 80 pounds of Rape? That's enough for a medium-sized village.

Fine for a (small) first strike.  As a response system, not so much.

Nuclear-armed Asian peninsula with millions of hungry citizens

Come on, now. Europe isn't quite that bad off, but you're spot on about the strained relations with the US.

B.L.Z. Bub: "Peninsula", subby? Try  subcontinent.

"Subcontinent" and "peninsula" are not mutually exclusive terms; both are applicable here, and subby was trying to misdirect to Korea so he described India in an uncommon way. If you want to be pedantic about it, you should insist on "country," because the Republic of India is not coextensive with either the subcontinent or the peninsula.

Well, if they nuked Mumbai bay they could solve that "too many mouths to feed" and clean out the slums.

2014-01-05 06:36:55 PM
Not to mention does anyone else think we don't have stealth nukes by now?

2014-01-05 06:37:51 PM
The launch was also the first mission of the GSLV after two such rockets failed in 2010 and an August 2013 launch was aborted at the last minute following leakage of fuel from the second-stage engine.

They must have tried turning the rocket off and then back on again.

Oh yes. America is just on the virge of launching pre-emptive nuclear strikes on the entire world. 2000 AD wasn't just an entertaining comic, but a dire warning of the future.

Is it warm in fantasy land?
