With the money she has, she can go crash 15 more cars and it wouldn't debt her wallet.

Who cares anyway?

No, that's a bad idea.  Because then the ratings would be huge.  And then millions of people will want to watch something like that again, so they'll start killing off all sorts of reality tv stars.  The cast of Jersey Shore, the Real Housewives of wherever.  I mean, they'd keep airing these executions until there's nobody left on reality tv.

Wait, what was my point again?

As a Christian I was upset with God that the Kardashian clan was not smote at the Kim-Humphries wedding.

You missed your chance big guy, but I still love thee.

Where in the article does it say she tried to play the attention whore card to get out of the ticket? I'm assuming that's just a supposition on subby's part. Which is fine, but at this point the story is "teenaged girl gets a ticket". That's all. The rest is just vitriol for vitriol's sake.

From reading the article, all I can think is the paparazzi following her probably should have been ticketed for speeding as well.

Came here to say this. Cousin had one of them till the GPS display went out and the dealer wanted $12,000 to fix it. What made it harder to swallow was a power window went out the previous week, which cost her $4,000 to fix. And the thing was only a few years old.

They were really cool when they were first introduced to the States umpty-seven years ago, when they were simply an imported military/off road vehicle, basically competing with the Land Rover.

It was when Mercedes decided to make them into a luxury vehicle that they went to hell.

The guys on Top Gear UK (well, Hammond, at least) love those things, but I think they're ostentatious and completely hideous.

I will concede, though, that I think Range Rovers are pretty sweet. If I had the money, and if they were more reliable, and if I spent any amount of time driving with more people than just me in my car, I would think about one. Then again, I'm a total Anglophile, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

The modern (Ford-era and later) Range Rovers are much more relable than the early generation Discoveries.  Sadly, I notice here in the State most people buy Sport, which is really just an overgrown station wagon.

I'm pretty sure you can get the standard-spec G-Wagon in Europe, which is one of the reasons the Top Gear guys sing its praises (or at least Hammond and Clarkson, who loves all things Mercedes).

And furthermore, I wish that kid's parents would take away her car keys for a month and make her pay the ticket out of her own pocket. Maybe that would teach her not to drive so fast. It's a mistake most new drivers make, so I don't totally blame the kid, but she's gotta learn.

Too bad there's a snowball's chance in hell of that kid seeing any consequences for her actions in that ridiculous family.

Those SUVs aren't exactly easy to drive for a newbie driver.  She crashed in it a few months back.
It's safe though (for her) if there is a wreck.

I think if her car hit my first car (Plymouth arrow), I would be road goo.
