I'm sure Robbie already knows about "no sex in the house" since you had the talk with him back when he was younger, and you thought he was straight.

Think on the upside.  There's no way his sexual partner will be getting pregnant.

Could it be that Rebekah knows that Robbie is gay, and Jason is his boyfriend and is helping her brother out by pretending to be interested in Jason?

THEN HOW DID YOU COME TO HAVE TWO KIDS?

The story beneath that of the mentally ill brother with a gun in a fanny pack is more fun.

Anyone who's ever had both a basement and teenagers should know that the most innocent walk down those steps could mean stumbling upon scenes of naked writhing.

The teenagers I have in my basement don't do any of that nonsense.  The chains and gags generally keep them quiet and restrained until I'm ready to go downstairs for playtime.

Why is any of this the parent's business?  Shouldn't the kids work this out themselves?   You know, learn how to navigate [adult/sexual] relationships like adults (which, if they're not already, they will be soon enough).

Can nobody here read? It says the sister just has a crush on the guy. Female has crush on gay guy, who's fooling around with her brother. It's not all that weird or implausible.

Rhino_man: The only problem I see is that the son is sleeping with someone who's in a relationship.

The headline is inaccurate in that respect. TFA states that the daughter has a crush on the friend, but they are not in a relationship. The headline also makes it seem like it's the father's sister.

Is it just getting to be a meme that these letter writers are fake? Seriously, you hang out on this site, you ought to know all the weird shiat that goes on everywhere. I wouldn't be even the slightest bit shocked at any of this happening for real. Seriously, "gay guy is shtupping a guy his sister knows and parents don't know what to do"? That's pretty mundane, all things considered.

Who belongs to a prepper church, apparently.

Yeah, I got more concerned reading that.

This, AND Jason is banging the sister too.  Guaranteed.   Hell, he should just pop in to mom & dad's room with a hard-on and a smile and nail both of them.   Add some spice to their obviously passionless marriage.

BizarreMan: Oh yea, dad apparently forgot the number one rule of walking around the house when you have teenagers.  Make a lot of noise as you go so they can hear you coming.

It always creeped me out when I could hear my dad coming.

Also, we do not tolerate sexual activity in the house, regardless of sexual orientation, so there can't be a double standard with Robbie.

Good luck with that. We all know teenagers are more apt to listen to logic than their own biology when it comes down to it, so don't tell them about protection, or tell them when things are appropriate. Also, you wife probably hates you, since, well, no double standards, right?

Is there some unofficial Internet contest to see who get the most elaborate fake letter past Prudence? And am I the last person to know this.
