Why is it then that Fox News and other GOP shills will give airtime to any 2 bit actor or recording artist for supporting their agenda, no matter how past their prime and/or embarrassing the "star" (I'm looking at you Victoria Jackson, Ted Nugent, Craig T Nelson).

I take it that the charges of keeping Asian and Slavic sex slaves in his basement didn't stick?  Oh wait, he has senior cops as friends.

See the late David Rakoff's essay about this bloated shiat.

As for Stallone, he's going to face other celebrity competition:

Not really sure what you're getting at with Rakoff. Rakoff was a pillow-biter/Salon illiberal retard and somehow that made him an authority on anything?

Deathfrogg: "Christian"? Check.

Not really sure what you mean by "Christian" because he is an avowed Buddhist. There's also this bizarre gem: From the Wikipedia: "In February 1997, lama Penor Rinpoche from Palyul monastery announced that Seagal was a tulku, and specifically the reincarnation of Chungdrag Dorje, a 17th-century terton (treasure revealer) of the Nyingma, the oldest sect of Tibetan Buddhism."

As a bonus for the Family Values crowd, he married a woman in Japan and had two kids with her, both apparently are actors/models. He left his family in Japan to return to work in the USA. He met one actress and married her BEFORE his divorce to his Japanese wife was finalized. Then, while married to the second wife, he met another actress and had a child with her out of wedlock. When the second wife found out, the marriage was annulled. Then he married the third lady with whom he had the affair and who gave him his third child. That marriage died when it was found he was having an affair with another woman with whom he fathered another child. He did not marry the home-wrecker this time, however, and instead married yet another woman who he met when she was acting as his interpreter while in Mongolia. He has apparently been faithful to her, though there have been allegations and lawsuits of sexual harassment from people who worked on his projects throughout his career. If nothing else, he is strongly fertile as he wound up with 7 children and 2 grandchildren so far.

Since Family Values voters don't actually care about family values, such as respecting the institution of marriage and not committing adultery, none of that would matter to them. He's a shoe-in! They may take exception with the Buddhist thing, but he's Tough On Crime, so it counterbalances. But he's also worked with PETA, so that might turn a few heads....if anyone notices. Which they won't.
