Today's high in Elmont was frickin' 32, after noon.  This happened at 8 in the morning.  How is that even safe to practice in??

Ok, normally horses DO NOT run into each other. They also don't step on each other- or people. I have no idea how two horses had a HEAD ON COLLISION!

There is something seriously wrong with this.

It happens, usually after an accident during a race.  The fences on the inside and outside of the track only give a loose horse two directions to run.  Only thing that confused me is why they were gate training and regular training at the same time.  Unless the gate schooling was in the chute or something.
