Huge error by the defense. How do you even do that?

Eriksson! So close.

Princip's Sandwich: LucklessWonder: desertgeek: LucklessWonder: The MIGHTY Oxford United's FA Cup 3rd Round game against Charlton Athletic has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at The Valley. It's the 2nd or 3rd postponement in a row for the MIGHTY ones. Helps heal niggling injuries but it feels like forever since OUFC won a match...

It's one of 4 postponements today, all for waterlogged pitches. That includes a long delayed 2nd round replay.

Also, just read that Tim Sherwood will be the 10th different Spurs manager that Wenger has faced while he's been at Arsenal.

I'm surprised it's only 10.

As for Charlton, it wasn't that long ago they were an EPL side. You would think they would/could afford to have decent drainage.

Sometimes it just happens. I remember a Real Madrid-Deportivo match getting postponed because the ball floated like a beachball on the pitch.

Just frustrating because FA Cup is likely only chance I get to watch the MIGHTY ones on TV

Whoops, Eriksen. I get the spelling mixed up with Sigurdsson.

Damn that was a slick play. Wish it had gone in.

Spurs seem to be playing a 4-?-2.

No one will pass the ball to the French kid.

Arsenal looking very dangerous, not sure how this is still goalless.

Between that and the defensive howler they pulled, I'm wondering the same thing.

Why are colored balls in use today? I thought those were only used during snow games.

I was beginning to write that Cazorla was having a poor game with his touch--and then he scores.

All is forgiven, Santi Clauz

3 on 3 run down the pitch, Cazorla's man left him unmarked to support the middle. Beautiful strike to finish it, not an easy one by any means.

Fox. This game is on the Fox network. Other selected games were on Fox Sports 1 and 2.

Bentaleb is obviously not having fun. Every foul seems to involve him.

Nobody on the Spurs bothered to mark Cazorla as he came into the box.

Townsend is hurt, right? Could use his pace on the opposite flank. Aresenal does not want to defend them.

Just saw the replay of the goal. Really nice shot and really bad defending. They just left that entire flank open.

Was that the cricket thing?  I saw that video and, while I didnt have a clue what was going on, it made me very happy for some reason.

2014-01-04 01:29:51 PM
Morgan called the English cricket team a bunch of girls after being roughed up by the bowling of Mitchel Johnson (Australian fast bowler). Brett Lee (an Australian cricketer bowler mostly retired) called him out and said he Morgan new sweet F.A. of what it was like to be at the reciving end of 90+ mph hostile bowling and to face him for an over.

So in the morning before a game in the last test Morgan faced Brett Lee (who at his prime was a 90+ mph) for six balls.

Morgan ended up battered, bruised and a broken rib

Video (thats basically a slightly smaller base ball being bounced into his ribs at around 85mph)
