Have the guys who used to be marijuana dealers figured out what industry they're going to move into?  Just dealing other drugs, or something different all together?

I was always under the impression that dealers followed the advice of Wu-Tang Financial and would typically diversify.

I received a letter today from the water company advising me on how to conserve water.

It says if you're washing your car, try to water your plants with the same water.

I thought, "How the fark am I supposed to get the car in the attic?"

Its a shame that the legalization forces won in Colorado.  It was one of the most beautiful states in the nation.  In 5 years or so it will look like Juarez.

Waiting for Manitou to come out with their guidelines at the end of the month. At least El Paso county will get SOME revenue. Pueblo County is reporting $5000/day in recreational MJ tax.

It's like the once nominally funny but not at all lately comedian Gallagher once said.  You can smoke more pot but you don't get any higher.  All you get is lower on pot.

At $40 an eighth, smoke wisely, Coloradans.

I imagine that most, local dealers do it part-time to supplement their primary income.  Some real devoted ones will probably get into growing and distributing legally.  However, I imagine that with the ease of access in state, exporting to other states may be a growing industry for some serious money makers.

The only stats I saw in the article said that people were paying 3 times as much, not that 3 times as much was being sold. But I kinda skimmed.

These are the same people that decided to lay off firefighters, turn off streetlights and quit watering parks rather than add a buck or two to people's property tax.

I doubt they really care.

Final numbers aren't, but sounds like a great start to funding school construction statewide and schools locally.

Just stick to the north east part and you'll be fine. The common belief up that way is everyone should be allowed to have an assault rifle because they keep people safe from harm but marijuana is dangerous

Yep, just like in 1933, when the country partied for almost a year with the repeal of prohibition of Alcohol.

The pants-wetters are still decyring the sales to all the 12 year olds at these retail outlets - darn kids riding their StingRay's over to the local pot shop and buying a dime bag, now we have all these 12 year olds stoned on their bikes.

That, if anything, would be what wakes the Feds up and starts them cracking down on all this legalization business. Meanwhile, you'd have to be crazy to cross the CO border outbound with any pot for a couple of months, at least. You know the neighboring states are salivating over the prospective new revenue...

What problem?  Last week I decided to get a new MSR - it took me all of 20 minutes including the background check.  Just like the last time, the time before that.....

Oh, you mean magazine limits?  So far THREE guys have offered to help.  Besides, for a range weapon, a big magazine only means you spend more per trip - reloading the magazine is the way you slow down the burn rate, unless you are made of money.  Annoying but hunters are not allowed big mags anyway in the field.

It's unlikely I would bring anything that held more than 5 rounds to hunt with. Is it even legal to hunt big game with .223 or 5.56 in Colorado? I thought .270 was the minimum.

I know I am in the right place for certain to be asking the following questions (which are based on a few assumptions)

a) How much above "street" price are they charging?
b) If you wanted to have one "fun" weekend night a month how much (weight) would you need for 2 people per month? (approx.)

I've got the type of job that probably wouldnt allow me to partake until it was 100% legal at every level since even a single failed drug test would probably be enough to get fired - more of an "image" thing then a performance thing.  I assume it will probably happen before I die but unless this thing picks up some serious speed I might be retired by that point.

$40 for an 8th is pretty good. I pay $50 for that and $300 for an ounce. I'm in Cali, though.
