(Motor Authority)   Camaro Z/28 is priced to sell at $75k. Car has no A/C but company figures that blowing this kind of cash will leave a stiff breeze in your pockets   (motorauthority.com) divider line 8

I'd rather have an old, restored Hemi car. Could probably get two for that price.

RINO: I'm confuzzled. TFA states that it is less powerful than the significantly cheaper ZL1. So what precisely are you paying for?

The carbon ceramic brakes alone probably make up most of the price difference.

After all that money, it's still just a Chevy.

Notabunny: I'm impressed. It looks like Chevy made a real Z/28, instead of just a sticker and badge package. Well done, GM.

Yes, because the 302 small block that was the 1969 Z28(the classic, be all, end all Z28), cost 16% more than the base model V8(a $450 dollar add on option performance package).

This Z28 costs 205% more than the base model V8.

No, this is not a real V8.  It's a sticker and badge package on a car that has nothing to do with a real Z28, but rather something to appeal to old Boomers with lots of money to spend on a nameplate they deem more special than it really is.

Ridiculously expensive. You can bolt two 400HP Camaros together for that kind of money

SpinStopper: It's about time they fixed those goofy tail lights ;0

Now it looks like a late '90s Prelude from the rear :/
