fusillade762: No.

I thought the period dragged that answer out a bit more than the question deserved.

Doesn't look like Patrick Swayze, so it's surely a fake.

Betteridge's law of headlines - "Any headline which ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no."

Although I do like the author calling out the fact not all ghost have to Victorian women and the like.

Whenever you watch those BS shows on TLC or whatever, the ghosts are ALWAYS angry prospectors or something.  A trillion people have died but the only ghosts seem to be from the same time frames!

Same with past life readings.  You were always someone "important" like Genghis Khan or Hitler.  (or was that just me?)

But why wasn't anyone a butcher from Queens in a past life??!

And WHAT is with the lines at the DMV??  THATS what *I* want to KNOW!!!

This used to happen to me pretty often back when film was a thing. My camera would regularly double expose the last picture on the roll. I have all kinds of neat paranormal looking shots.

I have no idea how it happens with digital, though, so obviously it's ghosts.

I miss film.

Good enough for me.
Case closed.

ISO 400, f22, 25 second exposure.

25 seconds.

Complete mystery, obviously.

I saw a comedian once wonder why ghosts are always from some old time. Why can't your haunting be from someone who died last night?

"I have shown it to five or six other people and they cannot explain it either."

Long exposure - guy walks into frame, stand there for minute and leaves.   Breaking news from 1838.

Photographer doesn't seem to understand the difference between 1/25 second and 25 seconds.  It's only off by a factor of 625.

My wife and I were talking about something similar last night.  She's all in to the Long Island Medium.  What I hate about that woman is she walks up to people who haven't asked her and tells them she's a medium and their grandmother is standing there next to them in line at McDonalds!

I told her if died today there is no way I would be hanging around her and my kids "haunting" them.

I'm around them all the time now, I can't imagine as a ghost I would choose to hang out with her at work and 'watch over her' at meetings or in line after work at the deli!

If it was a ghost, wouldn't the face be visible?

Dammit I messed up. There was a poll at the bottom asking if the photo was real or fake and I picked fake. Trick questions get me every time.

FTFA: He also believes it cannot be explained by camera error - and says it is likely evidence of paranormal activity.

"I can explain 99 per cent of these photographs but he has found a live one here - or a dead one, as it were," he said.

"He says he hasn't tampered with it, so to me this is a good piece of evidence.

Ignoring the pronoun soup, which is the reporter's fault, that there is some real great investigation. The photographer says he didn't tamper with it, and why would he lie, right?

"Yeah, the guy standing near the body was holding a knife dripping blood, but he says he didn't kill the guy, so to me that's a good piece of evidence. We're going to need another suspect- perhaps it was a ghost?"

Exactly what I was going to say *shakes fist of impotent rage* it was the combination of yarmulke and Uggs that was the only weird thing about it.

I was a gay prostitute who died of AIDS in Lower Slobbovia around 1723.  It was the CIA's fault.

Yes. It's obvious to everyone but the "professional snapper", the ghost "expert", and the idiot that wrote the article that the person in the picture is a woman.

If he is 'real', the poor chap - who has his head bowed and his hands seemingly stuffed into his pockets - seems a bit down on after-life.

Am i the only one who thinks it a chick? Unless dudes london wear Uggs and and skin-tight jeans.

/decent ass, too.

Say what you will, but that ghostly image of a building doesn't look anything like a building around today. It almost looks like some Victorian Era building, maybe older.

buntz: Same with past life readings.  You were always someone "important" like Genghis Khan or Hitler.  (or was that just me?)

I know this is a fairly common critique of past lives, but every single person I know who has gotten their past lives read has been given rather mundane information. My one friend, for example and assuming I'm remembering right, was a butcher, a farmer, and a shoemaker. I don't know a single person who has been told about a grand life.

Not that I think that means or proves anything. Just always confused me where the "Everyone is always a king" or whatever came from.
