Not really a photo bomb if he takes it and talks to you about it.

He has the common touch.  Or he likes to touch commoners.  One of the two.

So if you're the future king of england women will want you even if you're bald.

I take selfies at funerals. Sometimes with the deceased.

2014-01-02 08:47:20 PM
You'd think the poor boy would be just vain enough for some hair plugs or an expensive rug.  I mean, if he's going to revel in his baldness, he ought to just shave his head, but then I suppose he would look like a malnourished skin head.

I don't think he looks bad but yeah, if my hairline keeps receding eventually I will just start shaving. The problem is, I think, that you don't wake up one day in "shave your head" territory. It's a very gradual process.

Just say American Hustle. The bit about his hair was pretty damn hilarious (and scary).

??  They show up to watch the royals do all sorts of random stuff.  This was going to church during Christmas week, at the quaint fieldstone village church near the estate where they always spend Christmas together.

Last month, William's father Prince Charles posed was forced to pose for a "selfie" by his handlers during a visit to the Coptic Orthodox Church Centre in Stevenage.

Let's do be honest now. Prince Charles doesn't know the meaning of the faux word selfie nor the concept of its operation.

Well, yeah. Anyone with a title over there has a "claim to the throne" if you untangle the family tree enough. Hell, I've probably got one if I followed the Blair line far enough back. Diana was more of a "commoner" than a Royal, although less of a commoner than Kate Middleton.

No, you go through various stages. . . It's not so bad, I just need the right haircut. . . . Crikey, this looks bad, can't even look in the mirror or take a picture. . . Whatever, can't get that back or cry about it, might as well do the crew cut. . . Oh shiat #1.5 just bottomed out on the trimmers, time to get the razor out. . . damn after going through all of that I am an emotional hardass. . . now to just hit the gym and act like bruce willis in his (somewhat past) prime.

Middketon is most definitely a commoner by blood. Her parents are self-made millionaires and not from the landed gentry. Diana's father was an Earl, while technically that made her a commoner as well she was also considered a hereditary peer unlike Middleton.

I don't know the whole story, but didn't he and his brother volunteer for army service when Blair sent British troops to Iraq?

That right there is some stand up shiat. I can't imagine any American politician's kids signing up to go to war because their father/mother voted for it.

That's always been a British thing. Their royalty (men anyway) always join one of their armed forces. I would think that it gives them a good lesson in leadership if nothing else. The queen was working in the motor pool fixing truck engines during WWII. They aren't so much of the do as I say, not as I do type of people unlike almost all of our current leaders here in America.

Diana was most certainly not considered a hereditary peer. She was, however, entitled to the courtesy title Lady as the daughter of a hereditary peer (her father,  John Spencer, 8th Earl Spencer).

2014-01-02 11:00:31 PM
Came her to say she had a title of Lady. Therefore, she was nobility.

I went to a preemptive crew cut phase three years ago after I rather suddenly lost some hair at the temples and I thought that meant the whole top was about to go, but in that time I barely lost any more, so it was sort of a false alarm, for now. I'm growing it back out while I can.
