Olympic Trolling Judge: [a.espncdn.com image 400x600]I've never been more proud of my country. No, wait. That's not right. What's the opposite of proud?
FriarReb98: ...wow. So, want to tell me how easy it is to have a security perimeter around a 26.2 mile course that goes through residential neighborhoods without it looking like the road to Cold War Berlin?
Lt. Cheese Weasel: skinink: ""The NFL has been thinking about the security of the Super Bowl since its very beginning, but particularly after 9/11,""#$$#@ $#%$#$@ @# @##$%*(* 9/11! At this point it's used as a convenient excuse to enact measures even George Orwell couldn't have imagined. I fully understand it's a private venue and they can do whatever the hell they want concerning security measures. It's just tiring to see them use 9/11 as a catch all for doing anything in the name of security.9/11 was over 12 years ago. So long ago that on that date, the remembrance seems to have died down. It seems like last year there really wasn't that big of a deal made about the lives lost. Might as well have been just another day.Funny, that is what many said about the Boston Marathon 2013 too.
