Kim in September also watched films at a new "4D" movie theatre built in the newly-renovated Rungna People's amusement park, state media reported earlier.

Sniff-O-Vision has been perfected by Best Korea?

And who exactly is going to be living/working in these world class structures? Subsistence farming, cannibalism, and human rights violation aren't exactly industries requiring high-tech buildings

They could be training facilities.

The Happy Successful Workers Agricultural Center - Teaching archaic agricultural techniques to keep you only moments from death.

The Sour-Bone Culinary Institute - Provides guidance to get the most out of your recently deceased friends and family.

The Pyongyang Political Crime Collective - Provides training for informants and encourages self incrimination for the good of the country.

Not Korea, but you get the idea.

BTW, there's a barely SFW ad on the page I got. Might want to wait until your female boss isn't walking by to RTFA.

The next high ranking official to face the firing squad should be the little dude's barber.  I mean, he could do better himself with a hand mirror and a pair of rusty scissors.

Maybe he should start with farms. You know, maybe if North Korea could feed their own people it would be a better place to start then a damned ski resort.

Sorta, they had mist and wind machines, even a snow machine in the theater.

Amusement parks and zoos call some of their theaters 4D.

Some have chairs that can tilt in multiple directions. Some have small outlets for air and small water sprays.

I remember the Universal amusement park would spray water on you when Shrek sneezed. Remember the Simpsons thing where you go on a roller coaster and your seats rotate. Maybe something like that.

Ok, so Kim Jong Fattyboombaladdy apparently has advanced Best Korean entertainment engineering to the approximate point of Gatlinburg, TN circa 1992 or Walt Disney World circa 1986.  Maybe in about twenty years they'll have actual animatronics!

For those unaware--in general, "4D theatres" are a branding for "3d theatre plus motion component or other sensory component".  An early version of the concept were the Ripley's Motion Master theatres in your favourite tourist traps, and the Disney parks and Six Flags had the concept (with the actual "4D" branding) even earlier.  If you've ever been to the Casa del Miguel Ratón and seen "Captain EO" or the new "Star Tours" or pretty much any "motion theatre" film at a Six Flags or a Disney or Universal park...you're familiar with the concept.  Hell, even my local zoo has one of these...it's NOT exactly High Science or even Advanced Imagineering at this point.
