I'm honestly surprised it took this long to make the main page...

It starts out slow and I wasn't sold at first but pretty soon you're like "where did the last 20 hours of my life go?" I love Netflix.

Spoiler Alert:

In S1E5, Walt Jr. has bacon and eggs for breakfast.

FTA: As to exactly what drug they were caught with remains unknown but a neighbour who witnessed the bust told a local paper that officers were donning heavy, protective gloves as if they expected hazardous substances inside the house, fuelling speculation that Carroll and his potential partner might have been setting up a drugs empire of his own.

It was jenkem wasn't it?

FTA: Across five seasons of  Breaking Bad, the duo's meth-related misdemeanours should have served to put anyone off the drug business.

Did they watch the same show as me?

Anyone who's not interested in the series after the 1st three episodes probably won't like the show. But if you like the first three, boy are you in for a ride.

The house that the LCSO raided is on the same street as the house in which I grew up. My folks still live there & were pretty surprised at all the police presence in the sleepy little 'hood. Nothing ever happens in the Park.

I'm one street over from the house. Yep, that's as quiet a neighborhood in San Carlos as you can find; my wife and I often run around the circle there (it's exactly 1k around, making it really nice for doing interval repeats) because there's next to no traffic and the neighbors are really nice (I mean... they do luminaries every Christmas, and close the circle off for a huge block party for both that and Halloween!). I especially loved that the house backs onto the ballfields behind San Carlos Elementary; we got the obligatory "think of the children!" quotes on TV last night.

LCSO and FDLE were still there today. Naturally, a cluster of news vans is still parked outside.

The luminary party is awesome. It's something that I truly miss, now that I've moved away (I haven't lived in Ft. Myers since summer of '02, though I visit my folks a few times a year). The community is amazing (drug-manufacturing houses notwithstanding). I know it's changed a lot since I moved away, as all communities do, but that sense of looking out for and appreciating your neighbor has never left. My parents love it there.
