Wow, that baby wrecked her. I would still wreck her though.

Pretty sure you can see her maxi-pad peeking out from her bikini bottom in that shot. WTF?

I'm no fan of Tom Cruise or Katie Holmes. But any photographer that would hide in the bushes and take pictures of a woman and her daughter in bikinis should be arrested.

This is disgusting.  Yes, you're a celebrity, you bought your ticket, you knew what you were getting into.

But to take pictures of this little girl dancing in a bikini?

It's appalling

That's the problem with having a small waist and then having a baby : not a lot of skin to stretch without it starting to rip apart.

That's some grade A concern trolling.

What the hell is wrong with Mr. Cruise?  It's not that difficult to keep your beard nice and trim, particularly when you are rolling in mountains of money and can afford to pay people to do it for you.  I'm totally disgusted.

Like the law that California just passed that says the paparazzi have to stay away from celebrities' kids?

Typical of the Daily Mail though. Underage girls in bikinis have always been a thing of theirs. It wouldn't surprise me if they just wanted to publish the pics of Suri in a bikini but thought they should put in a few pics of her mother as well...

But you are right. If you or I did that to some random people sunbathing we'd be arrested.

Papers in the UK used to pixelate celeb children but seem to have stopped. I remember laughing at them pixelating kate Beckinsale's then very young daughter, despite the fact that a few months earlier she had appeared in one of the Underworld movies playing Young Selene. So why pixelate her face to hide her identity?

You know, I gotta go with the 'concern' troller on this one.  Taking a pic of celebs in bikinis, eh.  Goes with the territory.  Taking a pic of celebs in bikinis while hiding behind bushes like a creeper?  Yeah, no.  Taking pics of a little girl in a bikini while hiding behind bushes.  That's... really farked up.

If you see it as disgusting, I think you have some urges that aren't all that common, and you should seek help.  Maybe only see your kids with supervision.

It is possible to look at other people's kids, even in swimwear, without thinking about sex.  If there is anyone related to this that is disgusting, it is you pal.  Get your head out of the gutter.

/you get what you pay for

cygnusx13: Well, we have at least one thing in common. We both looked at 'em

True, I clicked on the link.  But it didn't mention the kid.

I'm not attacking people in the thread or anything.  I just find it disturbing that these photographers are allowed to do it, that's all.  In a perfect world their boss would say "You took pictures of a 5 year old girl in a bikini??  You're fired"
Instead they probably got a bonus!

And I'm over protective.  I don't post pictures of my kids online (Facebook, etc).  And I'm a nobody.

2014-01-01 08:13:29 PM
I'd love it if my stomach looked that good after having a kid.  It really is very difficult to go back to pre-kid tautness, not many people can do it.  Most of the time the skin stretches out and no matter how many crunches you do, nothing short of a tummy tuck can really fix it again.  I think she looks just fine, personally.

/my post-kid belly is nowhere near that flat and with kid #2 on the way I've pretty much given up on that dream...

Don't see it as trolling. I never thought being a paparazzi would be a shiatty job, but here it is. Some guy following celebrities around taking telephoto pics of the person and their children doing the most normal things.

I hit that like the sudden realization she threw away years of her life on a whacky fake religion. Seriously, she's still super cute.

Anyway, It actually might not be the most disappointing 30 seconds of her life. It's not like she got much action from Tom Cruise, so she probably doesn't have high expectations.

Um, yeah, no.  My issue was a man in a bush using a camera to take pictures of a little girl in a bikini.  It has nothing to do with sex.  And I get you're trolling me, but still, my issue is as a parent.

I don't care if the girl is wearing a burlap sack.  He aimed the camera on her, not the celebrity in the chair.

This wasn't just some young girl. This is a girl who has been surrounded by paps her entire life. She's used to it. Doesn't matter what she was wearing.

She and her mother were well aware of the paps. If they wanted privacy we wouldn't be having this discussion.

I'm not sure there's any way to fix that without plastic surgery.  Julie Bowen has the same problem:

img801.imageshack.us

And she's super fit.  You just can't get the skin to spring back like it did pre-baby, and I'd guess even with rock hard abs the rest of the abdominal muscles have stretched out, too.

That said, I'd gladly disappoint both of them.

upload.wikimedia.org

I'm comfortable with my view that any parent worth their salt (and without the last name "Kardashian") would object to having "the paps" take photos of her 7-year old daughter wearing swimwear, then sell said photos to the highest bidder. I think she'd (rightfully) feel that these photos of her daughter had been exploited her as an illicit commodity, for the mass public to consume, and whatever "paps" took these photos were rewarded by their intrusion of privacy.

You don't see much in the pics where she's standing up straight, so it does look good considering...

That's how biology and age works.  Stretching is one of those things that's almost impossible to heal to a point where you couldn't tell, the structure of the flesh itself is changed in most cases.  If care is not taken during and immediately after, you're going to get less taut skin.  Even if you do all those things, you're still fighting nature, to include genetics and normal human variance, and may lose.

Well, I guess in the interest of fairness, I look a lot worse than I did when she was on Dawson's Creek.  If she doesn't mind, I sure wont.

Harry_Seldon: The paps shouldn't smear her pictures all over the web.

Purely subjective opinion.

They do so because people will click.  You yourself clicked, you don't really get to complain because, in a fashion, you donated to the cause.  They do what they do because in the end it does make them money.  People retain an interest in these people's lives, it's been that way since we've had the technology to do so.

You have your opinion on what is and isn't fair game, but it's not objective in the slightest, and therefore irrelevant.  You're preaching solely on moral grounds, no better than a creationist or some other form of moral puritan.

Rational people know that's the price of celebrity and being too lazy to pursue some form of privacy, or simply not caring to have it at all.

Having her picture on the daily mail isn't exactly going to ruin her life, she's not being victimized.  On top of that, compared to her history with her dad and his crazy religion, this is absolutely nothing.  If nothing else, it generates good cheer towards her and her mom because they're no longer in that crazy situation.

Or he was just making a joke.
