Collect the whole set for only $3700

If they do Hubble there needs to be a space shuttle kit at the same scale with a robot arm and mini-fig Story Musgrave.

This is not a bookmark to remind myself later to grab this kit for my wife and 7 year old...

Oh, I wish these were to scale... based on the size of the rover, the Apollo rocket would be what, about six or seven feet tall?

You know, they could just kill the pastel Legos and dump that money into making all of these sets.

NASA should be taking inspiration from Lego, not the other wary around. I guess what I'm saying is we should be building a monorail on the moon.

Aren't those pastel Legos making stupid amounts of money for them?

I had an Apollo 11 lunar lander model when I was I kid.  I think I blew it up with firecrackers like all of my other models.

I had this one, and was thinking the same time.  Or seeing about building all the Castle sets I had.  I still have them all in 15gal bin.

For what they charge for Legos it should be a working prototype you can put into orbit.

Nevermind... 3 part space ship with front ship, middle section for holding back section that was a station. And there was a landing pad plate that went with it.

Does the hubble come with a wrong mirror and a right mirror for pre-and-post adjustment?

I had the kit depicting first contact between us and the Thermidians. It was worth a lot because it was before they allied with the dolphins to orchestrate the Global Civil Species Revolt.

/what?
//oh sorry

That's great and all, but they'd better release the new Police Dog Unit soon or my kid is going to explode.

FVendetta: Does the hubble come with a wrong mirror and a right mirror for pre-and-post adjustment?

The mirror is a large, permanent part of the telescope and was never replaced. Corrective optics to cancel the error in the mirror were built into the phone-booth-size replacement instrument modules delivered by space shuttle. Initially one of the four instruments was sacrificed to install corrective optics for two others but as of 2002 all instruments had been upgraded with built-in correction.

At the level of detail of a Lego model of Hubble scaled to Lego mini-figure astronauts, it could be hard to distinguish a reenactment of the initial correction of Hubble's optics from upgrades performed on subsequent servicing missions.

I had this one and the rocket launch one as well.  I just got my kid into lego and was able to salvage a little of my space lego for him, but for some reason the grey pieces have gone super brittle and shatter if they are bent even a little.  They're sharp when they break too.

The article ones are cool, but why is there a crossbow on the lunar lander?

That Lego Hubble looks pretty big. I can tell by the pixels studs.

I like the Lunar Lander and the shuttle crawler.

We had it briefly in our store before Xmas, but sold out in a day (I work for one of the Lego stores)... Our store is getting it back in Monday, so the online store and other Lego stores should have it back in in the next week or so... I love the cops/robbers sets we have :)
I bought my Rover at 1a on New Years.. wanted 3, would only allow 1... went back 8am to buy another, already sold out...

I didn't have this set, but constantly tried to recreate it from the space station kit that used most of the same pieces.
