bigsteve3OOO: But never say lefties are tyranical.  That can only be a right leaning person.  Good luck with the new guy he is off to a great start.  Already one murder.  idiot LIBERALS.

If you can spell tyrannical, that would help make your point.

Also, here was the first murder of 2012: ar ks-city-homicide-2012-article-1.999587

2011: 49 32

It's the same every year. Don't believe me? Here's 2006: da ys-of-06/25194/

What about under Guiliani? I picked a random year (1998), let's see what happened: ar -old-man-is-the-year-s-first-homicide-victim.html

So please take your trolling talking point of "ZOMG A MURDER ALREADY ITS TEH LIBSZ FAULT" and shove it up your ass.

mikemoto: I don't see horse drawn carriages on the list. The new mayor De Balsshole, wants to do that.

Almost every candidate running for mayor from both parties wanted to do that, blaming De Blassio for this is just plain stupid.

Even the Republican challenger wanted to get rid of them too. ia ges-article-1.1456216

But I guess this is just a taste of the derp that we're going to get from the right about De Blassio just minutes after he took office.

Bloomberg made some pretty horrible decisions as mayor (Stop & Frisk for example) but most of those on the list are pretty sensible.

Have you been near the park where the carriages are lately?  You can smell them blocks away, even in the winter.  These animals are not very well taken care of.

But I'm sure the horses are perfectly happy hanging out among all of the traffic and noise and exhaust waiting for some dipshiat tourist to occasionally let them walk around for a few minutes.

It's a stupid, archaic remnant.  It should have been done away with decades ago.

Don't forget he was the first mayor of the 21st century to harass black people living in his city with the purpose of removing them.

I actually do like a good amount of those. I like knowing there isn't trans fats in foods. On the occasions that I can't avoid Times Square I find it less horrendous (still pretty horrendous, but any improvement is welcome). And sorry smokers, but I really like the lack of smoke in restaurants and bars and the like.

That said, he did go too far. The soda thing, though it wouldn't have affected me, was pretty ridiculous.
