A truck that won't run in the summer. Ah, just what you need to match the car you have that won't run in the winter.

Any beer that needs to be "ice cold" to be palatable is a beer that's not worth drinking in the first place.

The only beer that needs to be ice cold is cheap pilsner that is best drunk while cutting the grass on a hot day.

I wonder how much it costs in Canadian Tire money?

/apparently there was a pub in my hometown that used to take Canadian tire money at par for draught.

Canadians are funny about their beer.  They love to joke about bland American beer while swilling on a Molson or LaBatts, which are both American style macrobrews that taste the same as Coors or Bud.

OK, I'll bite.

Pour a Labatt Blue and a Budweiser side-by-side. See any difference? If you don't, your eyes are as dysfunctional as your taste buds. If you do, good news: it's just your taste buds.

Did....did you just white knight Labatt farking Blue?

I suppose it does have a leg up because its less likely to be recycled Canadian beer but its about the same as declaring one pile of shiat a different shade of brown, lighter texture or in this case 'possesses a slightly less unpleasant taste' then the other.  Same with Molson Canadian and all the other fine domestics you can find on tap at the average under 21 dance bar.  I think the comment stands; it is ironic watching someone bashing American macro brands while holding a can of Labatt or Molson, fortunately those of us with any taste have better things to do.

/Like trawl fark while waiting for the hang over from last night to subside enough to venture out to the beer store

I did not. I was responding to your assertion that it tastes the same as Bud or Coors. And I don't see in my post where I ranked Blue over Bud. All the same, I believe Blue is better.
