SkorzenyNinja: Just dropping in to say that I just got back from the Northern Lights recreational marijuana shop in Edgewater, Colorado. I legally purchased 1/8 of Sour Diesel, 1/8 of Apollo 13, some gummy bear edibles and a bottle of sarsaparilla flavored "elixer".

Happy New Years from Rocky Mountain High Colorado!

very cool, man. Mind sharing the prices?

theknuckler_33: Disappearing Hitchhiker: theknuckler_33: Wasilla Hillbilly: theknuckler_33: I have been in New Hampshire smoking marijuana since the day after Christmas, so I'm getting a kick...

/doing more than just smoking marijuana

what? Like chores and shiat?

Well, bringing in firewood for the stove so I don't freeze is a chore I guess. Keeping the place tidy, too. But who wants to live in a freezing pigsty even if you are high? Frankly, I enjoy being out in the cold. Heading down to the lake in a few minutes to see how thick the ice is.

Don't forget to bring a towel!

I don't know how thick the ice was, but there was a good 6" of snow on top and there were snowmobile tracks all over the lake. No danger of breaking through... at least that close to the beach.

I am happy you are okay. The towel was a Southpark reference. Towlie.

I hope they manage to legalize soon, if not on this attempt then they will have others (and legislators and governors who are of one public opinion can change that opinion very fast when their jobs are on the line).

I must say that the one ounce rule that is part of all these laws is asinine, though. Nobody stops me if I want to buy a keg or enough vodka to drown in, yet weed is restricted to one ounce? Just asinine. Then again, the Feds and neighboring states would probably be unhappy with people being able to gets pounds (and no doubt much more would leak across borders to prohibition states).

$15 for the edibles and $55 per eighth. I'm sure the price will go down as more shops get their licenses and start selling recreational weed. It was $170 for everything. Keep in mind the tax on everything is 30%.

clancifer: The private prison industry is not going to like this one bit.

That's for sure.

Ker_Thwap: As a NH resident.  I hope the idiot driving stoners realize this doesn't give them a free pass for DUI.   I smoked less than an ounce today officer!

Of course you see what they did. They (Local Judicial system)  traded one crime for another. This one can make them more money.
This could effectively cause a decrease in car ownership and reliance on mass transit.

Pentaxian: For someone who has absolutely no clue about pot: How much is an once of pot? Is a few plants worth or just a joint or two?

UNAUTHORIZED FINGER: [Bag of weed picture]

-=-
So, is that a lot? Is that what was once called a "Lid"?
---------

Wasilla Hillbilly: An ounce is an ounce. You can get 20-30 good joints out of it. A clone might yield less than an ounce or much more, depending.

Oh, never mind. I looked up.
---------

UNAUTHORIZED FINGER: You'd still receive enough to spend four years in a Dubai jail.

(with link to article)
-=-
Why would anyone dare go to Dubai. A speck that could have been picked up from the ground (duh) anywhere and he gets charged? You know that was a set up, like given four years holding an American Dollar, because... you know... they all have drugs one them. Hmm, why does this seem so familiar?

It's all manipulated money.
And the weed doesn't make you laugh like the good ol' days.

About two four-finger-lids. If I still partook, it'd last me about a month to six weeks, if I could keep my mouth shut. Last time I purchased (about 15 years ago), it was about $240/oz. Humboldt County, the best in the contiguous U.S. Hawaiian was equal or better in quality, and about the same price.

duffblue: Sumatra7: Man, I can't wait until this sentiment comes to PA.

It's a weird state. A lot of left leaning younger folks in the major cities versus a lot of right leaning folks in the country.

And this is weird how?
