A Bronx Tale is 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. Not bad for the directorial debut of Robert DeNiro. Wonder why he didn't direct again until 2006 with The Good Shepherd?

although he memorably appeared in a half-dozen episodes of "The Sopranos" as a dimwit mob wannabe.

I don't think that roll was very much of a stretch for him.

I wonder if the terms of his parole require him to stay in New York, because if they do he is going to have a hell of a time.

The Good Shepherd is the most boring movie ever made about spies.

A Bronx Tale is very good film.  It's based on Chazz Palminteri's stories. He did a one man show telling those stories.

I would like to have seen that. I don't remember anyone else ever mentioning it, but I like his work on Modern Family.

"The saddest thing in life is wasted talent." Ironic that he would say these words in a movie then live them.

Wasn't there a story last week about a 14 year old who got life without parole for just being there in a robbery where the clerk was killed?
