Also, since the NWS hasn't mentioned this in their storm advisory for my area yet, it DOES appear that this dangerous storm may lead to me drunkenly losing my pants.  Thanks for the warning, subby.

The Weather Channel is owned as a joint venture between NBC Universal, Blackstone and Bain Capital (yeah, that Bain Capital).   Bain Capital also owns Clear Channel which own's the contracts for Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, Beck.

Clear Channel also owns 850 media outlets around the nation which provides news to 115,000,000 Americans each week.  That's a lot of power for one company.
