Hooray for the headline, and hooray for the article! I'd like to see an end to our indefinite detentions for all there at Gitmo. We should release these people, surveil them, and if they get up to any real illegal naughty business, then capture and try them for actuall crimes within our jurisdiction.

We've been trying to release these particular people for years.  The difficulty was finding any country that would take them.  They're Chinese nationals, none of whom wants to return to China (they'd all immediately be arrested as China considers them all wanted criminals).  Trying to negotiate with any nation to take them for asylum was pretty tricky.
