I would just like to point out, in advance of the final WHAR JAKE of 2013, that Mr. Philip Rivers of the San Diego Chargers never once took the Jake this season.

Watching Rivers play against Dalton will be like watching Mayberry vs Myer's Lake in the Hickory County High School playoffs.

After his stunning performance last season, any Jake awarded for less than a Full Delhomme would be a hollow victory.  The next time Philip Rivers goes all PHILIP RIVERS, it'll be a Jake for the ages.

If they continue to improve at this rate, the Jags are only 6 seasons away from going 16-0.

Actually, Stafford puts up a whole lot of numbers very late in garbage time when down 21 or more.

There is actually word that Chud and Kubiak lost their jobs due to their respective ownership groups comparing them unfavorably to Gus Bradley's work in Jacksonville.

Won one league with Bush and Megatron and lost the title game in the other by 5 pts. I dropped Vinatieri for Tucker in Week 16. Tucker got 1 xp vs. NE and I lost. Brutal.

Every QB has a Bad Day from time to time, so he may (and likely will) win it again someday, but as he no longer plays in a Norvtacular 27-step drop system, I sincerely doubt he'll ever again be winning Jakes with such regularity as in 2011 and 2012.

Winning 2 games with that team pretty much just shows that Bradley is a miracle worker.  Winning 4 shows that he's God's favored coach.  If, at the beginning of the season, you had told me that Jacksonville wouldn't have a top 5 pick, I would have called you insane.

I'll be cheering for the Chargers, mainly because if the Chargers go to the Super Bowl, that would mean that Manning would have "failed" in the playoffs yet again (more like the defense would have failed again, but Manning will get the blame).

Sure, they just edged out a Sous Chefs squad with the team's playoff seed locked. But they did it.

Not to mention that some of the games they lost were quite close, and they didn't let themselves be embarrassed by the Broncos. I can't wait to see what happens when we address the quarterback situation and perhaps look at some new running backs. And defenders for them.

But I think we still have the 3rd pick.

How the Jags didn't finish five from the bottom is anyone's guess, especially since they beat the Browns (but then, one might make a case that Alabama could beat the Browns).

How he managed 4 wins with that starting lineup...just insane. And without Justin Blackmon. It's essentially a team of cast-offs. They're starting players that were cut in training camp from other teams. Gus Bradley for COY.
