ArcadianRefugee: yakmans_dad: ArcadianRefugee: ZAZ: Watch you don't trip over the dangling participle.

Not sure how one would do so; the headline was completely comprehensible.

Legal documents don't battle where I come from.

And yet the sentence was completely comprehensible to everyone but you two. Since legal documents don't battle, no one should be confused by the headline in any way; they shouldn't "trip". Thus, it is "totes legit".

That, and headlines don't follow many grammar rules and yet are still acceptable.

"Comprehensible" is  a pretty low bar.

It's a married name.

She fought the battle defending the honor of her dead hubbys family, if i remember correctly. Pretty silly.

/have a long last name, always hated writing it out.

stuffy: Taking test in school must have been a challenge.

An elementary school classmate had a 12 letter last name when the fill-in-the-boxes test forms only allowed for 10 or 11. She got to have her name truncated.

Pocket Ninja: Stay tuned for the follow-up article where she marries and now needs a license that will accommodate her hyphenated name.

Well that is her 'married' name, although her husband is dead. That is the main reason she fought so long to have used. The DMV has asked her to use her 'maiden' name and she refused.
