I am disappointed. There are plenty of places they could have eliminated letters to save space and make it more readable.
"Thku"?  who uses that?  a simple "TKS" would have sufficed.   A few more of those and they could have spelled Tomater correctly

It never fails to amaze me, that after all the progress made in the 60's and 70's, that there are still educators who feel a need to dictate hair styles.

Really, how about setting a good example by spelling things correctly?   I know texting has its own shorthand, but American keeps getting more and more stupid, everybody is making fun of us for being ignorant and schools can't even be bothered to present things in an accurate manner, apparently.  Jeebus!

Jesus, Mary and Joseph on a jackass, THIS.

How about teaching something useful like math, science, language, civics, history and so on instead of ramming your insufferable farking snout into the personal business of other people's children?

What an amazing concept.

Teachers are not supposed to be babysitters or your child's BFF LOL OMG! They are supposed to impart some knowledge and (hopefully) some skills for critical thinking and the joy of discovery.

Except educators are not the same as policy makers, which was my point. This was not a pedantic argument about use of 'teachers', I merely used the term you did to explain those responsible for education of students are not the ones who composed this message nor set policies for dress and such. Not all associated with education are educators, and not all in the education field are educators.

They are part of the problem.

Since this is appearing on the 'AsiaOne' website let's make a pretty strong conclusion that the story is from somewhere in 'Asia' which usually has pretty strict rules for students in most schools.
