Sorry subby, but the coolest man in the universe is and forever more shall be BRIAN BLESSED, not least because you can't properly spell his name without using all caps. Here's Stephen Fry outlining just a fraction of the man's incredible awesomeness.

Well you have to be fluent if you are married to one.

That shiat's for real man!  I've heard them cow's mooing and they sound just like that!  The ones in France always stick "Le" in front of their moos.  I could never figure that one out...

He was always my favorite guy in Henry V when I was growing up because he wore plate and carried a mace.

Judging from pics I've seen on Twitter, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan have reached that age where they just don't get give a shiat

I saw him on the daily show and they talked about how he ended up in a lobster costume in a bathtub.  It was hilarious.  He seems to be very comfortable getting into silly situations (kids ball pit) which is a nice thing when you are older.  As texdent says he doesn't give a shiat anymore...screw respectability.

1. Great find, thank you.
2. It is a crime that QI is not shown in the US.

3. SENTENCES REFERRING TO  BRIAN BLESSEDMUST BE CAPITALIZED AND EMBIGGENED, AND  BRIAN BLESSED'S NAME MUST BE EMBOLDENED, LEST THE WRITER BE SMITED BY  BRIAN BLESSED'S MIGHTY GLOWER.

There are a lot of similarities between Patrick Stewart and Alec Guiness.  They both made their mark in entertainment history with HUGE, well loved roles, in science fictions series', for example.  The difference is, Stewart embraces it, where Guiness went to his grave resenting his being typecast as ObiWan for life.

In any case, Patrick Stewart IS a great actor.  And he's also a tremendously good sport.

The only way this could possibly be better is if he teams up with Terry Pratchett for a 2nd edition audio book of "Where is My Cow?"

Isn't this show just them saying things as if they were fact, and looking smart, but always lying?  QI?

I know he's been doing this like this for a while now, but i would have never guessed Patrick Stewart would be such an odd-duck like this. I love it.

Insofar as everything Fry says in the link - BLESSED's multiple attempts at Everest, boxing the Dalai Lama - it's all reverified by multiple sources. There's little need to invent stories about THE BRIAN, he's quite remarkable enough already, thank you.
