It's cute right up until it's large enough to eat your head.

But Until Then .... d'awww!

Whoever figures out how to genetically engineer domesticated miniature polar bears that look exactly like that will own the world.

Oh, little bear, once you go brown, you never something something.

Great until you see the link to the sad dog staying with it's dead pal at the bottom.

Dead puppies aren't much fun.

I wonder if it harbors any resentment against humans for shooting mom.  Like a deep seated grudge that festers waiting for the right opportunity to manifest in an ursine horrorshow at the zoo.

That's why Disney made a movie called Bambi rather than one called Kali.

That bear is going to grow up confused.

Like it will probably develop into being a bi-polar bear.

/Yeaaaaah!!

Awww.... How cute!

Now it'll grow up and be one of those polar bears that just sleeps in the back of the enclosure all day so you never get to see them.

"Get out here, stupid bear! I paid $60 each on these stupid tickets, you'd better get out here and play with a ball or swim or something!!! WAKE UP, DUMB BEAR!!!!"

*bangs on glass*

I read an article on Fark the other day about a man who can dispute this claim.

Bears are really inconvenient. My niece loved the one I got her, she spent all day cuddling it. She was less keen on it when it grew up, mind you. Possibly the loss of her spleen and several feet of intestine played some role in that cooling of the relationship.

Great.  Now I have diabetes.

Just look at how much money that Russian guy made when he invented miniature giraffes.

They don't come when they're called.

They don't chase balls at all.

Didn't we have story on a woman who climbed into an enclosure because she was disappointed with the animals not being sufficiently active?

No, she was pushed in by an Anchorman from a rival news network in order for him to secure a better viewpoint of a live Panda birth. Totally different story.

Don't deer kill quite a few hunters a year? Or at least drivers on back roads...

Holy shiat, yes. Go to PA every year for the last six or seven years and I've hit two and just missed one yesterday. And they travel in packs so if one jumps out you wait a couple minutes for the rest of the gang to come bounding out. Glad I get the rent-a-car insurance.
